As someone who rode this for the first time a couple of months ago, I 100% agree with every part of this review! It was worth one ride for sure & the theming was great, but man... just a little bit too rough.
I was happy to hear I wasn’t the only one who found it rough.

Ride this ride often, it’s really not that rough. Just my take, this is overstated in this review.
He also says at 4:01 that those who ride this a lot probably won’t think it’s that rough.
mall of america was my childhood, i would go to nickelodeon every year and this and avatar was my favorite
These smaller Eurofighters look like a great fit for smaller parks. They’re cheap, reliable, and seem to be crowd-pleasers!

I just saw “This is How We Roll”. Very good job.
It’s been a couple years since I’ve been on this thing, but I’ve ridden it many times and have never found it to be all that rough. I just think it’s an enjoyable ride and a good fit for the park. It’s not the best ride ever, but it’s still pretty good.
Never been to Mall of America, but it's definitely on my bucket list!!

Finally another coaster review
This seems strange to me, because when I last rode it (probably 5+ years ago) I remember thinking it was one of the smoother looping coasters I had been on. Now, it’s still my first and only Gerstlauetr I’ve been on, but I really thought it was a great ride from what I remember of it. I need to get back there again to see how rough it’s become…

I also wouldn't mind the return to more content like this. About two years ago this was my favorite coaster channel, because of the high quality and comprehensive reviews and analyses of news from the industry... nowadays that kind of content is so sparce which is very unfortunate.
I'm still subscribed tho, but I just don't like unscripted content very much so I skip to watch nearly all videos.

I’ve been on this roller coaster many times and I can guarantee for people who have never rode this ride, they should watch your review! I defiantly agree that they need different trains…
Ride with caution! It is VERY rough on the neck and as it says through the speakers do NOT ride if you have back or neck issues.
I love this ride, but unfortunately I've developed muscle issues in my neck and back a couple years ago. The last time I went on a couple months ago left me sore for days. I stupidly ignored the warning because I wanted one last ride on it. Instant headache.
So definitely be careful.

Thoosies when an indoor roller coaster is relatively short and isn’t smoothly intense enough to tear the face off of a Blue Angel whilst serving them a mimosa
The heartline roll gave me some serious hangtime. The only other time I've experienced this is during the keyhole element on X Flight. Also this was my first Eurofighter and I enjoyed it

It is what it is for something built in a mall!!! It’s better than some of the things they’ve had there prior…. Got stuck upside down on one of the last rides they took out of there

I can get behind that rating. The ride is a bit flawed but still fun. The entrance sign is fantastic.
I chalk it up to Gerstlauer making bigger and better Eurofighters in the years since Rock Bottom Plunge.
Really stepping up their game as they build more coasters.

I went to Nickelodeon universe, one of my favorite rides was the Danny phantom, Spongebob, Avatar and Timmy Turner ones.

I was able to do 3 rides in a row on Rock Bottom Plunge but that was my max
As i am watching this footage i can't help but notice the track shaking after the train runs over it, especially the loop O_O - leaves me questioning if that's safe or not
Roller coasters are designed to sway to reduce stress on the supports. Most roller coasters, especially wooden roller coasters, sway. So yes, it’s safe.

The "Rock Bottom Plunge", is my favorite coaster at Mall of America/Nickelodeon Universe ridden it dozens of times but I don't remember it being that jerky...it's been a hot minute since I've ridden it and who knows if my opinion on it has changed...and hey yeah lap bars on that ride doesn't sound like a bad idea!
I really wana ride this because rock bottom is my favorite episode even though the drop would scare the hell out of me

I rods this one almost 30 times in 1 day, & it had no line.
Curious….was this a ride that was added after it became Nickelodeon Universe or had it predated the change back when it still Knotts Camp Snoopy?
It was added as part of the Nick U transformation, alongside the Avatar Airbender Intamin Half Pipe.
There are now much bigger and better Gerstlauer coasters in North America, but it all started with Rock Bottom Plunge. Being indoors inside a mall is a big plus.
Also, our Gerstlauer spinning coaster is the very first coaster they ever built in NA.

This is definitely a bucket list “park” for me just because of how massive that mall is 😅 But this is good to temper my expectations beforehand for when I get there
if you get a chance get to okewood in south wales speed nolimits is a great euro fighter

Rode this in October of 2017 and I gotta agree. The gerstlauer otsr are terrible and combined with the strong rattle, it wasn't great. I love the vids man!

Why are you making such a huge problem of roughness, i don't understand. I have not a lot of credits or anything, but i know about roughness enough, and it still does not bother me. I used to ride Condor at walibi holland with the old trains. I loved it for it's layout and i prefer a rougher coaster with stronger layout over a smooth coaster that does a bit less, for sure smoothness helps a ride being better, but roughness does not destroy a ride and sometimes you guys act like it does. I actually felt more pain on Untamed, than on old Condor, i do however agree that restraints make a huuge difference, and i don't understand wich fool thought shin guards were a great idea on the rmc trains, because if you are just a bit tall you will non-stop slam your shins into the shin guards and shin guards have no logic to keepijg you safe

Good Review, I’m pretty sure almost everyone that is subscribed to your channel has been waiting for another review. I think you should rank the eurofighters that you’ve been on, I think that could be an incredibly interesting video. Also are you doing a top 25 this year?

Great review, I feel like the main issue with the Eurofighters with OTSR as opposed to the lapbars are the trains. For instance I rode Mystery Mine at Dollywood in April with the updated layout but the trains remained the same and it still felt bumpy. I think the trains don't track as well as the lap bar-only trains. Another reason I say this is I rode Iron Shark in Galveston and it was glass smooth. I could be wrong, but that's the theory that makes sense to me.

I agree about the over the shoulder restraints. I'm not a fan of those, even though I can manage these fine by keeping my head forward. However, I feel the same way about B&Ms OTSR. I think those are even worse, the most likely to cause headbanging from any manufacturer. That's why I'm always confused to hear some people criticize other manufacturers' OTSR while they are also in love with B&Ms OTSR. B&Ms give me more headbanging than any other.
How intense did some of the elements feel? Like how forceful was the vertical loop and how whippy was the Zero o Roll?
