Yet another phenomenal character theme from Gold. So many different elements and emotions could be exentuated by minor changes, like Amy's theme being able to fit into scenes of heartbreak, loss, childhood whimsey, horror, etc. Love it
Oooh, I like this. Premiering the themes before the episodes even air is a good tactic, IMO- fans who've already listened to it will be hit even harder by the emotional bits in her first episode. No, I have no more idea what will be in that episode than anyone else, but Davies, Gold, and co. know how to tug at the heart strings.
I love the Waltz feel going on here. Very distinct from any of the other companion themes. We know so little about Ruby Sunday or what to expect from her thus far, but this at least gives me a vibe if nothing else.
This is something I could imagine André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra playing. It’s a beautiful Waltz. They could dance to that on Strictly Come Dancing 😂 Well done Murray Gold ❤❤

This is by far my favourite non-Donna companion theme.
2x speed really adds to this.

It kind of sounds like the Staged soundtrack, I'm not meaning that in a bad way btw😂
It really does lol
Wonderfuuuul ❤
Wasn't this partly made by the actress herself as well?
No I don't think so, but she'll play it on piano in the Christmas special as I think was mentioned when this debuted
Well It was played during The Devil's Chord by Ruby itself (iconic scene imo)@@PokewoodTheater
Omg
