Spot on with all the pros and Cons mate! I've got a rwd F-Type R and I also had an AMG beforehand, I wouldn't trade this car in for the world. It makes my grin like a chesire cat every time I drive it. Great video, I've subscribed.

*OMG...sorry for multicommenting, I just watched your car-finding story (starting time point **8:00**) i.e. the way you came to having your Ftype and it is uncannily (like, as in, freakishly) similar to how I came to my XE (pictured in reply to a comment below). 4S, but for some different aspects, what you spoke about how you got your car is surreal vis a vis how I ended up with my XE. Wow*

Black Jag rims with the Rivets look that encompasses the Rims circumference. Dark tinted windows, so when I drive. And have the windows up, I love seeing peoples faces. Ryan They aren’t limited. It’s all Jaguar produce now. You can’t buy the RWD one anymore. It was second hand. 5k miles from an independent garage near me.
I couldn't agree with you more as I've got a 2012 XKR and love it to bits too. However my other car is an F Type R and it's everything the XKR is not and I love it just as much. Jags are making fantastic cars.
Great video! I'm sure Ian Callum had a gent like you in mind when designing the F Type R. You could even be in the adverts! I had a perfectly spec'd one shipped down for me to purchase, but it ended up needing to get the fuel pump regulator replaced prior to buying, and in that time, I've been considering some other cars: an i8, Conti GT Speed, 991C4S, a California, or even splurging on an F430 (although I can't get the Jag out of my head). I was wondering what other vehicles you dream of owning in your lifetime like you mentioned? I will most likely go with the R, because it makes so much sense and is absolutely intoxicating & beautiful, but there are just so many desirable cars out there these days, aren't there?
Evander Jameson Thanks for the awesome feedback Evander. Some kind words there. To be honest my list tends to go up in ascending value order peaking at the top with an F12. At the current price bracket, it was always the F-Type for me as it just makes sense and I have a daily car to use to keep the Jag miles down. The other cars in my list are Porsche GT3, AMG GTS and McLaren 570s. I think out of your list, I’d be tempted to stick with the Jag too. Potentially the Porsche although I’m not a fan of the non GTs. I’d love to know what you choose. Best of luck. 👍🏽

After being in an AMG GT, I'm afraid I'd struggle with the mile long bonnet and low seating position sapping at my visibility confidence, although it really is a masterpiece. I think it's time to place a call and finalize the purchase of the F Type R. I'll save the Ferrari for next. Appreciate your help, mate! :)
Stnford Wilson Hi! You just need to pick the correct colour spec. With black specifically, there is more than one black option and you’ll find some have a fleck in to make it sparkle and some are more flat. I was lucky with this blue as it was already a colour that had the fleck in it and they don’t do a flat version.
The reason why next year im getting a GTR over an F Type R is literally in the comments.... look at how many people have one.. everyday i see anywhere from 3-10+.. while a GTR i see once a month if im really looking. I love the Ftype but so does everyone and to me thats an issue as it causes everyone to get one.. beautiful car but, ill stick to a GTR and put a titanium exhaust on (: im going to be making a new RUclips channel for it too! Also when your in a GTR you attract a lot of positivity and fit in with supercars including the meets while an F Type you can see a casual person in one. I wish the price of these cars were fixed to a higher price so less people would buy them. Ive been battling my mind between an F Type R, Porsche 911 Carrera S, GTR, 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo (dream car of mine when i was younger), or a 2012 Bentley CGT. I think the GTR still is the best bang for the buck especially since ill be 19. Im very excited to explain to everyone how i get there in detail!

I was curious if you have ambient lighting in your vehicle? Unless if that’s an optional upgrade. I love that application you have on the phone. Super cool! I was wondering if the trunk is powered assist. I cannot imagine trying to slam down the trunk since it appears to be a heavy piece of metal.
R CM Hiya! No, there is no overhead storage around the light on this car, I know what you mean. Some cars do. The ambient lighting options are single colour or 5 colour. I have the 5 colour option that all turns red when you select dynamic mode! The boot is power and it operates with the key as well as the button on the lid itself.
That is so cool! I wish I could see your ambient lighting. It sounds so ferocious not only during the day but also at night. BTW, I totally agree with you on the rim choice (powder coating it to a darker finish) rather than a bright aluminum color. 20" rims are pretty large. I've heard mixed reviews on the ride. R CM glad you like the wheels. I’m really happy with what I’ve done. The ride is perfect. Nice and firm and it then gets even more stiff in dynamic mode. I love it.
jason applin I’m 6’5 and my hair just brushes the sunroof cover. The seat is right down on the floor. I’d be surprised if you do fit in one with the pano roof. You might be ok in the non pano. Leg room is fine for me. Thanks for watching by the way. 🙏🏽
What awesome beasts they are - Stop being so pedantic. I'm more used to riding fast bikes with far less clear vision and fun than this F Type. You can change the side sills for less than $100 each but the go faster steps look far better. My only complaint is that I don't get to drive mine enough.
Lava Peter Many reasons really. The noise, I already had a C63 AMG and I’m a fan of a V8. Also, I had one on loan and after that experience I was not prepared to settle for anything else.
If you still have the car....I put an Aliexpress carplay (wireless) unit in the car...not sluggish at all now. Great video save the audio.....not of the car but of you speaking is poor.

Where do you store your fancy sunglasses? What is the purpose of the storage compartments on the side of the door? It looks really tight.

The fuel economy is hilarious... Mine is better with V6S but the noice is not as beefy...
