    Kind of insane that Faye was able to take on Thor despite not being a god herself, she likely used strategy and technique to wear him down instead of using brute strength.

    Considering the Leviathan axe was made specifically as a counter-weapon to Thor's hammer, not to mention Faye being highly skilled to even match Kratos in their first meeting, that proposed encounter, and outcome of Thor greatly underestimating Faye doesn't surprise me. We need a Faye prequel story....ASAP.

    @calebstephan2083 Год назад +35

    Actually she fought Thor when he was drunk. Thor use to go around slaughtering giants while not being serious and drunk so when he encountered Faye it was even because he was drunk. It's stated in other dialogues in the game that Thor fought her when he was drunk because he didn't expect her to be much of a challenge. Kratos actually fought a bloodlusted Thor who was sober and kratos was the one holding back since he didn't want to kill Thor in the second fight. Not to mention this game basically confirms that young kratos was stronger according to dialogue so the kids who believed whatever Cory said on Twitter years ago were wrong lol. When kratos talks about the sisters of fate, Zeus etc in the game Freya and Mimir say that they wielded magic more powerful than any magic she has seen in the realms basically confirming the Greeks were op as hell. kratos even confirms during the norn mission that the gods he faced in the past were stronger than Heimdall and baldur and the beings he fought UpTo that point in the Norse realm. Just bringing this up because people kept saying the Greek gods were weaker than the Norse gods are on crack I swear. Mimir himself said that the stories of kratos fights in Greece are more legendary than the stories of Thor's fights and Mimir says that the stories of kratos fights are so epic that most of it sound exaggerated and kratos confirms that they are all true. If kratos was still young, had all his old weapons that were just as strong as the chaos blades and some even stronger and all the magic abilities he once had, he'd have smoke Thor in seconds. Current kratos only has super strength, he lost his ability to use magic after Zeus used the power of fear to strip him of his old weapons and magic. Faye herself admitted she couldn't win against the gods and it was stated by Mimir that Faye's rebellion against the gods was defeated which is why she went into hiding in the woods and gave the axe to kratos who was suppose to be the champion chosen by the giants according to the mural. they thought all along it would be Loki but it was kratos who saves the giants which is why the final mural showed kratos being loved by all creatures in the realms. Lokis role is basically to save the giants from those orb things but kratos role was to lead and defeat the aesir.
