I still remember first trying World of Warcraft (fall of 2006). I was blown away by the quality of the production, the quality of the combat, etc. but it was the music in the Dun Morogh tavern that really solidified that opinion.
agree, i sometimes like to go there with my rogue, and while stealthed, i sit in the darkest corner and listen to this music..... or if im lucky and when im online in the middle of the night when most people like to sleep, it is the time when there are almoust nobody online (i am on a low populated realm, somewhere 3500 people play there), and it is a good bedtime music for me ;D
boomerang2455 I've always loved Ironforge. I really wish they'd put cities that aren't Stormwind and Orgrimmar to use again. They took a step in the right direction putting the heirloom vendors in Ironforge and Undercity. Hopefully they can keep up with that trend. I love having a reason to go to abandoned cities.
+boomerang2455 This is absolutely true. In the wintertime in a cold rental house seeing the giant forge made me feel cozy as hell. On the flip side, the drums that played when approaching Orgrimmar as an Alliance character were very intimidating.
This reminds me of when I first started playing WoW, a close friend of mine decided to buy WoW and he had some trial slips so he gave me a slip, not knowing what it was I just left it on my desk, days later I was bored one day so I figured I should at least try out the game, so I created my account and eagerly logged into WoW. I was a gnome because it reflects me, yes.. I was quite the midget, my friend fancied the dwarf, we went on, quest after quest, oh would I kill to relive that moment.
I miss all those moments, when i was just sitting with my friends in guild near fireplace, and chatting about anything, laughing a lot, playing for fun not for equipment or being the best. When everybody was polite and willing to help each other, when u met another player u were always greeting him and asking if he needs help. I played wow vannila and tbc because i needed to hide somwhere to run away from this rough world. But Wow has changed too :/ its similar to real world.rude and greedy..
9 years old this comment. Don't know whether you are still alive but if you are hopefully you've taken off those rose-tinted glasses since then. WOW always had rude and greedy people and it always had nice people. In that way it was always similar to real life.
During the burning Crusade I found myself in shadow moon valley at the doorstep of the black temple. I am went to log out for the day and the inn and was struck by this music. There I was, surrounded by demons but as I looked around I saw a roaring fire, animal heads on the wall and heard the quiet clinking of ale mugs. I thought to myself, how ironic. These dwarves made a tiny little piece of home while being surrounded by war. That was 10 years ago or more. Illidan is a different thing now and the game has changed so drastically. Yet here I am, still visiting these places and hearing this music
Thank god someone else also had this... The first time entering a tavern, or the first time entering a new zone, or the first time you tamed your first pet as a hunter... Everything, was godlike. And now... now it's just a grindfest.
I drink ale and listen to this music. I remember when I had crappy pc with 1gb ram back then. Dwarven city lagged like hell but the snowy fields around it were magical. My dream.
Dwarfs are my favorite music class. They have very well made things and music :). if only all the other classes could have as awesome music as the dwarves!
god i wish there were still taverns like that with nice and funny drunken people ^^ i would sit there all day listening to this music, drink me drunk and maybe play a game of karts or something like that ^^
This reminds me of when I played WoW for the first time, it was during Wrath and I was barley able to read, my parents loved playing but had one rule I needed to learn how to read before I played so I sat in there laps and read quests to help me learn how to read.
I miss when I stood in Goldshire inn all day and night long on BoreanTundra. I was called the King of Goldshire because I was there so much. I feel so bad I quit. Ashadren lives forever in that inn (':
I stopped playing WoW in 2010. Heavy feroucious horde. So many time passed but this song still lives in my mind. I remember sneaking ally areas just to hear this song. Oh, I miss the old wow days. Now I am older too.
I remember one day one the server Bloodhoof some guys held open the tavern in Stormwind's mage quarter as their own. Everyone could come in, buy a drink and dance and have fun. Back when there was still an amazing community.
Back then, when you still were noob, and everyone else was aswell. When people were standing in front of a boss, not knowing what to do, since noone was writing tactics back then. When you just charged in and tried to figure out tactics. Back then when kids aged below 14 had no clue about gaming, back then when general chat rooms were still kind and gentle, back then when gaming's purpose was entertainment, not bragging. So - how leonard young said: "One can only remember...not relive"
I loved the healer and tank hunting in bc and pre look for group wrath of the lich king. I asked in the city chat for tanks and healers for *insert dungeon name here* and then get a wisper from somebody to inv. Then we did the run and I keept there names in my friend list man I whas full wiht tank and healer names and often did run's wiht the same players and in time we started to joke or craft for eacheothers or simpely hang out in WoW. Good times. Good times
@MrSpookyDW This :) I'm older than you but this music brings happy tears. I never forget everyday to visit the Inns in Kharanos or Thelsamar to hear this amazing music
New purely Blizzlike private server starting up the 25th. Progressive release of content, just as you remember it! No ridiculous level rates or drop increases. Standing on a strong community with a team of scripters with 2 years of vanilla scripting experience! I am i no part associated with the devs of this server, im just spreading the word so that a few more nostalgic souls can join in the fun. Seek me up in-game the 25th, i'll be going under the alias of Anvilbeard!
yes i know. but not the same if you know what i mean. like on ultraxion you need to press a button all the time and on vanilla it was like ''survive and nuke'' i think you know what i mean and i miss the old times so much
i would like to dld the tavern music from wow.. of all the taverns.. i tryd to download some series of sountrack albums from wow but i keep ending up with the same things... can someone help me out on how to get the tavern themes??
@Bebombabom Ask yourself, does this really sound like something that would be playing in a DWARVEN tavern? More like a hobbit or a human, it was a good song tho, so I pressed like lol.

Goldshire inn music > Dun Morogh tavern music
For every true dwarf there is only Dun Morogh that eases your soul after all the battles you've been and monsters you've fought.
Never played WoW, I'm a LOTRO person.
But such music I ALWAYS enjoy
Here's a cheers to the company and fellow music lovers!
As a horde player, i always envied Ironforge. It's so much more cozy and comfortable compared to Orgrimmar, or in fact any other town in the game.
Hell yea. One of my favorite places to stay in. It's so epic and big.

I remember I would go into Taverns just to listen to their wonderful, homely music..
these days people erp in those lmao

I'm just a social drinker. Whenever someone is going to have a drink, I say: So shall I :D
I listened to this in Hamburg Oktoberfest while drinking a beer
Nice mate, still remember this after 10 years?

Thumbs up if you got happy tears in your eyes while you listening this amazing melody!
I play Horde now, but the Alliance tavern musics are wonderful...and there are many tavern RP-s...none in the Horde so far..I miss them so much
its awesome that magni is back havent Seen him since my good old bc time
Plays in the Argent Tournament as well.
it was composed by the same person - David Arkenstone
This reminds me of when I played WoW for the first time, it was during Wrath and I was barley able to read, my parents loved playing but had one rule I needed to learn how to read before I played so I sat in there laps and read quests to help me learn how to read.
What a cool memory !
im listening this track right now and im cryin' omg im 28 so what godless music
I miss when I stood in Goldshire inn all day and night long on BoreanTundra. I was called the King of Goldshire because I was there so much. I feel so bad I quit.
Ashadren lives forever in that inn (':
I've played a Tauren since vanilla but if I were to switch to Alliance, I would go Dwarf! They have the best lore for Alliance.
Obviously the night elfs have the largest lore though.
so lasst uns nach einer langen reise im grimmigen säufer entspannen, ein bier trinken, und dieser schönen musik zuhören!

I miss the good, old times. The first entering in one of those taverns...godlike moment.
FOR KHAZ MODAN !
+Asuya93 --CK YOUR ICON

Classic will save our souls.
Ah dwarf, my favorite race in wow. To be a noob again in the early days of Wrath, that would be so awesome.
those days when most players where 15 years old noobs haha
if i got the money, id rebuild a tavern like this
5 years later, do you have the money now ?
Maybe now?? 🤔 :)
Building such tavern aint an easy nor cheap feat you know
When I hear this, as a composer, I want to do the same...
Yeah, I will do it.
A BEER FOR MY FELLAS' !
That game was so cool.

@MrSpookyDW This :) I'm older than you but this music brings happy tears. I never forget everyday to visit the Inns in Kharanos or Thelsamar to hear this amazing music
It's like Mount&Blade musics :)
Mount&Blade tavern music is hardcore folklore though, wow's a little more mainstream.
Keep yer feet on tha glooned!!
It was the best of all days.
there is a tears in everyone eyes
0:30-0:35 wow that is so beautiful
It's just so cool and calming, almost catchy...lol

@ lol really? of course they are
knowing what happened with Blizz makes these otherwise calm and peaceful musics saddening :C
beautiful music

Heroes charge theme…
Man, i'm still trying to find that ost from Heroes Charge. I only found that crappy version of some guy in yt, but i want to listen normal version.
@@fokspoks Unfortunately, the game removed it.

Oops, there is a tear in my face.

I wish I could go out to a tavern just alike those in WoW...
I have a soundtrack for my next party at home :D
5:00 is the best part...
gotta love the middle ages because of this kind of music
Anyone know the name of the song playing in Vanndar Sotrmpike's chamber in Alterac Valley?
Looks like an old Irish, Scottish or English pub
lemoine Antoine Good ol' English
Pub, when you walk in the place smells of spilt beer, good times.
oh yea i whould be in this tavern if they whould play music like this :D
I'm pretty sure this is based off of a Celtic song called "The Dragon's Breath" but this is much faster
R.I.P real wow :'(

true words my friend
grrrrrreat to meet ya!
This song remembers the lands of King Conan, the hyborian kingdoms
yes i know.
but not the same if you know what i mean. like on ultraxion you need to press a button all the time and on vanilla it was like ''survive and nuke''
i think you know what i mean and i miss the old times so much
@Olivere118 Idk but some people want the old times back. Called it Vanilla. Dont know.
Hope this music will be played long after WoW has "died".
Yeah I was saying to myself huh is this what played Pre-Bc in the inns.
2019 For Azeroth
great music
If you like this song, look up "David Arkenstone - The Dragon's Breath" on RUclips.
I've had 5 dwarf characters from Vanilla.... Is that why I play this song everytime I get on?
You would play dice, they're dwarves :P (I don't know if other races would play it...)
True words brother.
This music remeber me the Hyborian Kingdoms
I prefer to remember WoW as it used to be. Not the abomination it has become
