People used to pay for hand made crafts. Now they're just paying for the maintenance of the automated machines.
@@SonglyWryt.Bon-Burr QQ+++
Yo, why the two tool changes? It shouldn't be a problem to do all the cutting with the downcut and only after that cut the screw-holes.
Unless there's a risk of movement?

I actually thought the dust shooting off the screen on the first cut was getting into my soup. I really need to sleep.
Yeah been there forget what's real and what's a video
Huh
Just one line, before going to bed 👀🤏🏼
s o o p .
thats not something you make up
I watched this three times before I realized I'd watched it three times.
Must. Have. Down. Cut. Bit.
I'm in love... With the fact that you TOLD me what bits you used... Thank you sir.
I like the bit when he says if you want to try this at home..like everyone has a bespoke CNC set up.
He tosses a mean word salad, spewing out all those numbers for bits that are presumably ridiculously expensive, too.
Nah they're not that expensive, and woodworking cncs are much easier to run than a metalworking one so it's a great entry point
@SamCyanide Sir, I work at a hardware store. The bits for this machine are twice to three times as expensive as the bits for a regular router. That's not to mention that the least expensive CNC machine is twice as much as a standard router. You toss out the word cheap and I don't think you know what that means😂
@@DarkJbats no u don't know what it means, just because something has a lower upfront cost doesn't make it cheaper.
Only 2x the cost for 5x the speed, productivity, and accuracy is incredibly cheap in comparison. Overtime u'll spend much less with a cnc then u will continuing to use standard machines.
U also don't have to use expensive carbide bits just because it's cnc. It's just a chuck, a standard bit will fit just the same.
@verakoo6187 Do you bro, I'm not judging. The machine is beautiful, the work is immaculate. You do great stuff. However, while everything you said is true, you take away from the fact that most woodworkers, even those doing it professionally for many years, will never be able to afford that set-up. I understand completely how much time it saves, and time is money, but money is also money. Don't pretend like that's not true. It is elitist to pretend otherwise.
The cutting is so satisfying 😁
It really is!
@@ToolsTodaywhat bit brand are you using?
I did not know that an auto-tool changer was a thing before today. My next CNC will have one for sure.
There is nothing more satisfying than cutting woods with cnc machine on youtube
Not a single retract, that was amazing
Interesting! This machine is similar to a CMM, which we use for inspection in manufacturing yet here you are with one rigged up for milling 🤣 this is sick!
Those machines are so cool.
I watch 1 damn shop video and they send me all kinds a shit now . Btw “ Shop Time “ with Pete is bomb 💣
peter brown is the shit lol ive been watching him for years

I'm not even there and I can feel the sawdust going strait into my eyes
Forget about the maze, i want the drill bits
They look so cool!
Amazing cnc work
why couldn’t you do the maze piece before drilling the holes? instead of changing out the bits
This cutting is so satisfying!
Where can I find a machine like that know it even changes the bits and everything 🗣🗣🙌🏾🙌🏾 keep up the amazing work man
It‘s a Stepcraft
That audio loop was perfect
Amazing machine but WAY out of the budget for my little workshop. I do truly enjoy watching you make these projects.
I prefer the x1000 super-pick hydrometer ultra based because it figgles faster
Color of this wood so brilliant!
The blue color is not the surface of the wood. It is a thin layer of adhesive blue plastic that was applied to the entire face of the wood. It is usually used as a mask so that the portions of the wood that are machined can then be painted with perfect paint lines along the cut areas. Not sure if the masking here is for painting or simply to make the cutting path more obvious for the viewers.
Nothing like a tool that changes its own tips.
Awesome Video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing work, thanks for this.
My dude using a router coated for fiber reinforced plastics in wood. Thing gonna last forever.
that's really cool I'm gonna make one
Давно хотел деревянный японский мотивчик в стиле падог. Крутяг! 👍
Keep it up very educating
Great work
the drill is air cooled? surely can't use any liquids. sorry for the dumb question
Yes, the spindle is air cooled.
thanks
Merry Christmas🎄🎅 that everyone is in peace and harmony ☮️🕊with everyone else and especially with your family👨👩👦👦👨👦👪👩👦
Interesting, I did not realize they changed the name from Endmill to downcut bit.
That's a really fun g-code😂
Fantastic idea. 😮
Yeah this one makes sense in almost no one's recommendations but hey... Good job. Looks good 👍
Please do video on different types of bit and thier uses....by the way.....which one best for clean cut on mdf
Would be cool if the links in the description would actually work on the RUclips app.
Perfect loop
I need one of these like now
Wow i like your job❤️ good luck
Hi! Good afternoon. Your product turned out beautiful, it has a lot of quality in the finishes. Congratulations . Could you please let me know what is the name of this CNC machine manufacturer. Provides more details. Thank you very much in advance.
Güzel ve islemsel bir Makina
I have no understanding why I like mazes... but I do.. alot
Good 👍 works and finishing 👌 👍 100% works
Nice video and Cnc, but from an Efficiency Standpoint, why do you change the drillbit back and forth, if you could do the Maze and cut out First, then the holes? Just curious if it has a specific reason
Thank you. I don't like cutting anything in solid wood after the profile cut has been made, as it releases stress in the wood and can cause it to move a bit which would then throw things off.
@@ToolsToday Oh okay, good reason if you have made better experiences this way, thank you for your answer:)
Amazing🤩
Good work 👏
Beautiful.
You didn't need to change the tool in the middle of the process you could drill the holes later.
But the auto-tool-loader is cool, so why not use it twice?
@@JosephGamacheKD0AHS lol my thoughts exactly. Gotta get the glamour shots
Why not tho it saves time
@@yeoj_ they mean he could have used the first bit for all of its cutting then switched to the smaller bit last so the tool was only changed once. Which would save time
Gotta flex-showing off the auto-changer… 🙄
That’s aMAZEing
🤯 amazing
You ever think about doing rmr cuts for pistol slides?? I'd use you.
Hey mate!!
What is the make and model of this cool machine??
I love this
How I can get this amazing machine.
And what is the price is this mechine.
Consigo fazer tbm, só que sem máquina CNC, sem Arduíno, seguro a tupia com as mãos, e vou seguindo o desenho.
so nao fica igual a precisão do cnc kkkkkkkk
Beautiful ❤️
Why did you make the toold change in the first place?
You could do it in the first run with pause.
Pretty sweet
looks good
How long does the cutting usually take?
One question. Why did you use clamps it’s a vacuum table?
It's not a vacuum table. This is a workholding wasteboard www.toolstoday.com/stepcraft-m-1000-cnc-work-holding-wasteboard-instructions-downloadable-and-customizable.html
if you needed a hole in wooden block...why you did not cut the edges of the holes ?
That CNC is pretty fast
What brand/size cnc is that
You would save a lot of time by not switching out the bit until the end
I would save exactly 2 minutes.
It just makes no sense to switch the tool just to switch it back to the same tool 2 minutes later that's all
It does. I don't like cutting anything in solid wood after the profile cut has been made, as it releases stress in the wood and can cause it to move a bit which would then throw the hole locations off that I had already drilled into the acrylic top.
Is your CNC pneumatic or electric?
What was your feed + speed for the pocket?
Flexing with a auto tool changer = supernerd
What brand of the machine you use?
Is it a brand specific thing that your bits have so much heat discoloration on your bits, or are you just pushing them that hard?
It's not heat discoloration, these are carbide bits with a Spektra coating on them that helps extend life and improve performance.
The only thing left is a small metal ball
Ah yes, I know exactly what the 42069-K bit is.
The best item
I need this CNC. Seems difficult to setup and zero in though.
Can you give me the link to get this CNC machine plz ?
Down cut bit? You mean 90° end mill?
Minor difference in the fluting that forces the chips down into the part rather than evacuating them. This can be dangerous when using them in metal or deep wood pockets but they leave a clean surface finish on a single pass. Not something most professionals learn because they are usually working with metals but they are great for hobbyists like this.
@@chriskaufman6561 thanks a ton for your explanation. As you guessed I am a machinist but have only run parts that were metal (titanium, inconel, aluminum, steel, etc), delrin, or carbon.
Personally, I would’ve gone with the 69-420-8008135 bit, but that one works just fine I guess
Lmfao.......😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Might be a catalogue order number. It’s up to you to find which book it’s from 😅
Called the company got the answering machine "at the sound of the weed please *moans*"
Big companies going downhill these dayd
Which CNC machine is this?
What's a downcut bit? I do cnc work too, it sounds useful
All of the chips are forced downward leaving a clean top surface of the material.
Are those bits Amana Tool???
Yes they are
@@ToolsToday so yeah my good memory is not cheating me, I used to sell those. We had big displays used to sell those big displays but have like three dry in this place now. Showroom and we got all Amana Tool Spectra edition, God damn day gorgeous, and nobody complained about this factory edition cuz they were the best and they were last in the last long as they can. People been bidding a crap out of them. I love the old good times. I wish I could back to the industry.
I work for this CNC machine 😊
This was very interesting
bro you sound like my band instructor 😭
He does, what a trip
How to build this machine.. Any video
Amazing ToolsToday!
Hi, what type of machine is this? How can buy this machine. Can you share me the link?
Beautiful yet capable of peeling you like a potato.
Y’all want to talk about a collaboration piece. I want to make some insane speed bag drums. I just don’t have a CNC. I’ve made some cool stuff so far by hand
What cam program do you use? I have one of these at work but the cam programs all kinda suck :/
Man, I really want to get into wood working for fun / a hobby. I’m super interested in getting a lathe. You think you could make a video about good intro woodworking projects to dip your feet in?
Lathes are a lot of fun! It's hard to say as it's going to be different for everyone. I would just pick a project that is something you need or want, my first project was a coffee table. I bought a couple of tools to make it and just went on from there acquiring more tools for the projects I wanted to do. Check out this video, it goes over how I got started in woodworking and turned it into where I am now, I hope it helps! ruclips.net/video/3f3hxWO3ArM/видео.html
Price of this machine ?
Я такое каждый день вижу, и станок раз в 50 больше размером
How to control finishing in corner of all designs
Is that drill bit titanium? Or stainless steel?
According to the plans description you have to buy seven bits?
You don't have to buy the bits I used, but that is what I used for this project. If you already have some that will work, you're certainly welcome to use them, what is listed is just what I used.
*me following along with my at home CNC milling machine*
If my spoilboard was so high I couldn't use my tool length detector
Wouldn't it make sense to run all operations of one tool at the same time instead of having to switch back and forth? Presumably the holes on the outside aren't going to affect the maze, and the maze chips are too big to fill the outside holes.....
