I know that Lake and Emerson would have really loved this. Kind of full circle, in a sense that, the boys started off, re-interpreting classical arrangements, of orchestras using many of the instruments seen here,,,and now, this band...is reinterpreting ELP. Very cool....
Well that's something I never thought I'd see, a brass band playing Karn Evil 9. Insane. Who ever thought of it is a genius and cool choreography. Haven't a clue about America Football, but I get their half time entertainment. Now let's see them perform Pirates!!
I remember back in the late 90's, the Davison High School marching band in Michigan did a medley of ELP's version of Pictures at an Exhibition. Pretty ambitious for high school!
Oh alright, I'm stepping out of my Band Geek closet...😄! This was wonderful, simply for the reason that Keith's work has reached out and inspired these members to play.
Siempre dije que fue un genio incomprendido...me trataron de idiota por ello...hoy lo reinvindican en las universidades.,...y me alegra muchísimo...salud maestro...
Hi. It would have nice if the band had formed the ELP logo whilst they were playing. Still... probably lost on the majority of the audience as it was..
Great job...but, sorry my high school band director,Bill Fry, wrote an arrangement for this in 1978 for our high scool marching band. I know because I was the drum major and had great fun directing it on field....
it's because of the audio quality and the dissonant intonation. they could've adjusted their instruments more precisely, which might made their delivery better then.
New Genre? Progressive Marching Band Music? This is just dope!
As an ELP fan, this is truly eye watering, Brilliant and full of energy, thanks to this great band for putting this together and sharing it
Cone and see the show!.. Never thought ELP music could be done by a marching band, but this works....well done!
We get to play this in my high school marching band this year and I'm so excited!!

Sam Palmer I was in high school band 10+ years ago, and we played this in our halftime show LOL. This same arrangement.
@@rhythmnation2004 There can't be more than one marching band arrangement of Karn Evil 9, can there? ;-)
I have a pin that I bought from our high school music boosters group that says "Marching Band: One day football will be played at half time." :-D
Wonder how many people in the audience could appreciate this....
Better than the Super Bowl Halftime show.
I really believe Keith and Greg would have gotten a kick out of this. Very Good.
Particularly post-Works. Believe me, it takes that mental level to do this!
Oh come on. I want to see them do the whole thing. First, Second, Third Impression. Metal up guys !!
ELP was prog not metal.
Truly impressive! I've still got my vinyl copy from when it first came out.

Love it, kept it swinging in the drum break, nice abbreviation of the long song from the arranger.

Spectacular! Spectacular!
Carl Palmer uses part of this clip (with credits) in the "Welcome Back My Friends" tour he's doing currently. If you have a chance, GO SEE IT!
Wow! That is amazing. When did you see his concert? I definitely want to try to see it. I saw ELP live 4 times
Love it,great job from a long time ELP fan.
Norfolkacallin north, pretty ok coming from a short time ELP casual listener.
the marching is superb, you guys are great at that and the interpretation of the music just makes the whole thing magic.
Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends...
LAWD-Y-LAWD! Works was the driving inspiration behind my marching band days (Rocky Mount Gryphons!).
Outstanding arrangement...
A combination of my two favorite things: marching band and prog music
Goosebumps allover❤❤❤
Pretty Dang Impressive! Very Nice!!
Was waiting for them to do the ELP sign!
Played Karn Evil 9 in high school. Takes me back man.
Keith would love it!
And so would greg and Pete sinfield who co wrote it

Great performance
I can't love this enough
i am blown away....
Extraordinaire !!!
Espectacular!

Looks like they formed a big ELP as well.. awesome stuff 🐸
I'd bet my son was there, we miss you Mitch!

Great job Bobcats!
👍❤️
Elp on the band floor!!!
Wow so beutiful out of box
The Gypsy Queen rates it four jars of Vaseline.
I can't believe that someone even thought to do that, let alone actually do it. What's next, Hendrix' Purple Haze?
I saw a band do all along the watchtower for a halftime show once; they did pinball wizard by The Who too
See the showwwww
God Save Keith Emerson
OMG
Долой Штолле!
Nostalgia bomb... Those my marching band comp elitism wants to criticize for the park and blow. Come on where is the fun drill!
Not bad at all.
F&ACool

Really great!
But those drum sounds……..🤮
This really just does not work. Awful. Does not do justice to the song, and the song probably is not suited to a marching band.
it's because of the audio quality and the dissonant intonation. they could've adjusted their instruments more precisely, which might made their delivery better then.
Great!!!!!
