I like the way you think! Haha. I really think this pedal has changed the way that I approach dialing in tones for chicken picking. It is seriously good stuff.
Thank you for making this awesome vid. This is what I was looking for- i know it does the "amp exploding" thing, but I kinda knew it'd be awesome for this.
Thanks for letting us know about this pedal. I love your short, no nonsense demonstrations. I also really like your playing. Please keep making these videos.
Thank you! That's very kind of you to say, and I really plan on continuing to make more videos like this (and more frequently I hope). I really appreciate you being a subscriber, and in all seriousness -- check out some preamp pedals if you get the chance. I slept on them for way too long, but this one woke me up to a bunch of possibilities!
Right?? Johnny is the man when it comes to knowing exactly what you need even more than you know yourself, haha. Also, thank you for the compliment! I am really enjoying this new-ish partscaster that I put together. It’s become my most played guitar as of late.
Nice! I am still using one of those old Greer sonic booms as a booster. This one sounds pretty sweet too with a lot more tonal options. Best part of the vid is the playing though 🐓👍
Haha, thank you! I love that chicken at the end of your comment. Also, I think you hit on the best part of this pedal -- it has a really wide range of tone shaping options as well as different levels of gain. When I finally sat down to check this pedal out, I probably got sucked in to playing it for several hours before I knew what happened, haha.
Thank you!! And yes! I have a few different Gretsch guitars and it is fantastic with them, particularly at the low gain stuff. I will say that they can get a bit feedback-ish when you raise the gain, but I think that’s more of a symptom of hollow bodies than the pedal. However, at lower gain levels they sound fantastic. Particularly, one of mine has TV Jones pickups which are a bit on the hotter side, and that combination really sings!
@@CodyJungGuitar Awesome thank you! Loved the Johnny Hiland and Richard Smith interviews! Subbed to the channel, keep it up! And do more Gretsch videos ;)
This one snuck by me! Killing playing. Love Greer pedals - they should send you a few more to demo! :-)

Awesome! Thank you so much. I am glad it helped. I hope people dig this type of video!

Great review. 👍 I'm sold on it.
Nice! That pedal is definitely still on my board. It’s excellent.
Johnnie strikes again! Nice sounding pedal and guitar!

Great demos! Johnny got me going on this pedal too - mine is arriving Monday!
Thank you! Yeah man, Johnny is dangerous to talk to about gear - he makes you want everything! Haha. He has never led me astray though!
@@CodyJungGuitar Got it today, the fuzz sound is amazing, trying for the Canned Heat 'Fried Hockey Boogie' sound straight into the board ;-)

Great demo! I love it on the low gain sound for the added warmth! Have you tried it with a Gretsch by any chance?
