Wrong. The best 4 Star is Yuanwu. He doesn’t have the highest dmg, but his break focus and defence makes him the most useful against bosses. He can easily parry thanks to his speed and interruption resistance, which breaks bosses even more. Besides the main DPS, his hybrid benefits are the best and can even be used instead of a healer if skilled enough. His intro skill is also useful. I normally use Yuanwu/Chixia/Verina to solo content. Switching from Chixia to Yuanwu feels so satisfying when mixing their intro and outro skills.
IMO - Best 4 stars are Mortefi and Baizhi ,they do almost same thing. Then Danjin and Sanhua are good too and maybe Taoqi . Yuanwu,Aalto,Chixia and Yangyang are waste of mats ...
I got encore from the novice banner and mortefi as well. I would love to use them together but I made it a point to play only women characters so Im skipping him lol

not necessarily, if the bar is not full you can still do a heavy attack technically.
Sanhua works way better with Calcharo, especially if you have the scale:slasher sword for sanhua.
Don't use Mortefi for Calcharo as Calcharo's heavy attacks aren't effected by heavy attack buffs. He scales with resonance liberation
Calcharo, Sanhua, and Verina are the most popular team for Cal but Sanhua will be replaced by Yinlin after Jiyan banner
