As far as the world has come and there have been many great female singers and songwriters, women still have to fight harder than men in the music industry.
i know Dorothy since before 28 days....and i admitt i was afraid her style could be lost as soon as she came in the industry of music, but what i see is beautiful, she battled her demons and we can still hear her rocking style. im very proud of her. happy to hear the process of the recording. they are a band and it sounds like this! love them so much!
I think that she is so amazing. I was listening to her songs so often that my family and friends are totaly annoyed of me^^ I am just so sad I didn't get to know about her earlier. Just waiting for the day the band comes to Germany, so I can finally see them live. I listen to lots of bands I like but none of them got me that addicted
She's perfect. Rock lives on. But I still felt that this album was kinda of a songwriter solo album. But I hope next album to be heavier and more as a band (maybe I'm wrong). On the future for those who read this, she's gonna be huge but to me she already is. 😊
The album being about going from a very dark place to getting healthy.... I've been there. I prefer the old music, but if the new music is representative of sobriety from alcoholism and good health, then the new music must stay.
I like the darker, more soul driven sound they had. The new album just sounded like typical west coast cookie cutter music. Same thing happened to Meg Meyers. Whatever works for them, but man I miss the soul.
