This is an excellent interpretation of the poem. I was fascinated by how you did it. I also approach "The Raven" through singing and music and have been doing so for the last 30 years. Though my vocal approach is quite different, I admire the artistry of what you did. The world is richer for your having done so.

At first, I was a little offended by the idea of this. "Music Adaptation!"; I was expecting some trashy techno-beat or pig slaughter screamer. Needless to say, to my absolute surprise, this is inspiring.
It can be difficult to sit down and understand what it is you're reading when it comes to older literary inspirations; you've given this old cryptic poem a living voice.
I hope to see another soon!

I was searching for a very good version that I downloaded long time ago because I loved it very much, and couldn't find anymore. Untill I recognised it in this one. I prefer the old one without the piano, it's more intimate and pure. The poem doesn't need any 'scary-halloween' sounds, the way you recited it there is just perfect to me. Though this one is the best on YT too.
