What I find amazing about these travel diaries is that you aren't staying in amazing luxury villas and hotels and you don't spend every night in an expensive restaurant. It makes it seem more relatable and I enjoy it so much more. Your actually showing so much incredible scenery and I love that
You said your family doesn't trust you to travel around by yourself. I said your family is smart not to trust you. It was supposed to be joke. The truth is, girls like the one making these videos are burning through around $10,000.00 worth of money that someone gave them. And they make every place look like it is just wonderful, even if it is a miserable tourist trap like Rome. What they are presenting is not reality by a long shot. It's some kind of weird "my life is so wonderful, don't you wish you were me" thing. I have been to many places and Rome is one of the places you get the hell out of as quick as you can. Beggars and thieves, pickpockets and scam artists, everything is a rip off, hordes of rude ass Asian tourists, etc. There are indeed amazing places to experience in the world. Rome is not one of them, but Florence is for instance. So when you see girls like this showing off and making it look like everything is perfect and wonderful, know that they are just narcissists trying to make you jealous of them. You can look at the amount of comments that girls like this respond to in order to get an idea of how much they care about anybody else. They never to respond to any of them.
Rome was actually beautiful I loved it more than Florence & Venice. Venice was ok but I got lost from my classmates so not a good experience. Wasn't a huge fan of the colosseum but they had these gorgeous men standing there in those army outfits from the olden times. The trevi fountain was beautiful I tried to take a Polaroid but the flash at night prevented the fountain to be captured. The famous church the Vatican was gorgeous the structure the ceilings quite a gorgeous piece to marvel at
