In today's episode, Tony fulfills an early request from one of our viewers, the great Buffalo New York funk legend Rick James. Unfortunately his reputation and image were severely tarnished by non musical factors and he ended up being the butt of the joke in the whole Chappelle/Charlie Murphy deal. Nevertheless, the recorded work shows the art of a true innovator-an artist who established a whole new genre of sex-funk music that still resonates deeply today on the urban airwaves of this country. just watched the video, very interesting hearing you talking about RJ.
I think that due to his fall from grace, make most people forget how brilliant he was and how he contributed to music at his time and even now.
