  • Racing doesn't always go as planned, and after finalizing his race bike build for the season, Brian Cahal suffered a concussion that has kept him sidelined this summer. But, in the spirit of salvaging this season of 'Let's Go Racing,' Brian has decided to sub-in fellow talented racer Conner Wygearts to pilot his Forbidden Dreadnought. In this episode, Conner compares back-to-back runs between his Santa Cruz Bronson and the Dreadnaught to find the perfect setup before racing the Northstar California Enduro. Enjoy!

    Fantastic episode Brian 👍 Think it would be even more interesting if you put the same suspension components on Bronson. Good work lads anyway 💪

    I love the Bronson. It fits what I got it for, which is no longer racing. But I am interested in a cascade link and bumping the travel to a coil.

      @team1austria Год назад +2

      As a Bronson V3 rider I can reccomend the Cascade link in combination with an coil shock just not enough ... it makes the Bronsons DH performance better, without loosing its playfullness character and good uphill performance.

    Get better bud. Took me 3 months to fully recover from my concussion earlier this year. Just keep at the PT and rehab as if it was training.

    Mullet vs Full 29er is a tough comparison because full 29er will give you a better overall plough and grip feel over a mullet.

    I really like the look of the dreadnaught. But all the owners of one I've spoke too have nothing really positive to say about them. From frame failures on the 1st ride to bearing and idler issues.

      I've been riding mine for more than 6 months now and apart from cleaning the linkage once in a while (or else it starts creaking a bit) it's been relatively low maintenance, the stock idler is surprisingly durable too (I have the 2022 version). I actually love mine
