Oh mein gott ist das lange her. Mitte der 70ziger(wir alle waren jung und probiereten so manche dinge aus haha) lagen im Stadtpark hörten uns Mixtapes mit Eloy Jane Birth Control Kraan usw an die eine oder andere Tüte kreisten und wir waren glücklich

I think it is the best album from that age, and album art too, eloy is amazing, not all but some really kick asses albuns who a listen are from Eloy.

@statementallity: As a German I see Rammstein rather as a caricature or comic cartoon of Germanity which to my surprise seems to work very well in the English speaking world. Nobody in Germany speaks or sings in the way Rammstein do in their songs. Does German really sound so harsh to foreign ears when you're listening to Nena, Hubert Kah or Silbermond? They're much more represantative for the sound of German language in a pop song. Eloy and their cerebral lyrics are typical for German hippies.

thanks for uploading this masterpiece. but Eloy is not from Krautrock scene that much. they are progressive rock with psychedelic/space rock approach. to mention, you can name some bands of that time like CAN and Amon Duul as kraut rock but not Eloy. great upload anyway ;)

it's pure illusion to think that rappers will be upset by a Eloy records... 99 % of them simply don't know who are Eloy !? so how can they be upset by this !? (only maybe a few rappers in Germany thats all)
but more honestly a lot of rappers will be upset by another AC DC album or even Iron Maiden... because they know more or less their music...and are really mainstream worldwide band who can compete in important countries into the Charts with big sellers rappers... here some can be upset...
Yes, I agree with this comment. To native English it's a bit "over the top". I know it's typical of seventies prog rock -especially European. ...the timing and spacing of the lyrics just doesn't work well with the music. It's too 'wordy'.
you can't even mention yes and eloy in the same sentence. This is not bad, but just a 'skillful Yes imitation'. And I don't think they tried to hide it, look at their logo. Still, sounds nice...
Unfotunatly knows the new Generation and the young People almost nothing about the wonderfull bands,(from the past Generation),and Music Groups like,Eloy,Camel,Rush,Deep Purple,Budgi,Gane,Led Zepplane,THE GRATE PINK FLOYD;TAGERINE DREAM;VANGELIS;KLAUS SCHULZE;J:MICHEL JAARE,and many many more Grate Music Bands with amazing Songs and Master works,and it seems to me.that this schoking Phänomen boders nobody,it´s very sad and upset for me and wath i feel,That the neu musik is to 99% only Rubish.

Frank Bornemann and his friends are genious's, Nearly everything they did is amazing. They are underated. Unfortunately it has been several years since they released anything. Nearly ten years. Meanwhile the rap and disco animals like Madonna and Byonce are persisting with garbage music.
It is not only Blacks who play, disco and rap nonsense. Madonna and Britney Spears are white idiots. A good black composer i admire is Arthur Lee, the leader of Love.
