Thankyou!!! So glad this was the one I clicked on... 10minutes till I was dishing up, I don't normally like peas so thought I'd look for sank to 'jazz' em up and I don't like mint on savory. Simple, to the point and I happily ate and enjoyed my peas. ( I used red onion as I'm so fussy with food and prefer them )
Thank you, Nick! I try to keep all of my recipes here simple and give ways to make them a little extra if desired. I sub shallots in for onion a lot and I think it's great. Definitely underutilized in general.
This turned out to be so perfect, looks delicious, definitely gonna share it with my friends, thank you my friend for the recipe, i appreciate it, looking forward for more recipes, God Bless
Hello Jerry thats a great healthy menu! I would love to cook that for my family. ..THANKS you by the way for dropping by on my very first Premiere appreciate alot!
slice your steak in strips. looks prettier than chunks. good date date meal with crunchy fresh salad and crusty bead. wine? or I could have this with Grey Goose on rocks with a lime. sexy.
@@MGLafoote I don't like letting the butter to get quite to the brown stage for this. Fried rice would take a few more steps, but adding some blanched carrots (because carrots take more time to go fully) would be great here!
Yum, can't be anything but good. I do similar but squeeze in a little tomato paste when the peas go to the onions. Colour clash and counter intuitive you would think but it goes well.
That's why I dedicate a lot of time to making recipes with veggies. I think it's just a matter of presenting them in a way that isn't horrible. Convenience products have turned perfectly nice veggies into poor creations!
Use a metal strainer with a wooden handle to get your peas all out of the water at once. Note: It’s called ‘blanching’ just NOT put into an icy water bath. Only boil till the peas turn brightest of green ( never use salted water, it would make the skin of the peas tougher in texture.) Save the water, let cool over night to water your house plants the next day. A win win, enjoy!

I like this video regarding the peas! everything looks good. But dude I think your steak just needs like 1.5 -2 more minutes. Obviously you like rare, but that looks almost raw? idk I could be wrong!
Thanks Joe. Since it's a flank steak, Id rather err on the rare side because it's a tough cut, but for fattier cuts, definitely closer to medium, you're right.
What OTHER VEGETABLES do you want to see me make here on the channel?

Cauliflower or broccoli that doesn't involve cheese!!

Thanks so much for your comment! Red onions is a great substitution. I think I agree on the mint on savory, definitely not with peas at all!

Bread and a salad would be great with this. A nice martini or some orange wine or rosé... perfect!
Are you using brown butter
Can you add sliced thin sliced carrots to that and put it in mix set up with some brown rice and make a fried brown rice

I’m wondering if it would taste good with a little cilantro and tomatoes, added, and chopped up tiny
Maybe! I wonder about the extra moisture in the tomato, but these are relatively low cost ingredients. Give it a shot and let me know!
