100% agree, more options is a win win for all the consumers. Competition is good and healthy for the market I reckon. Plus hiya offers a cheaper alternative for those won’t be able to afford SHMA evolved.

Exactly. With Hiya I can preorder and not thunj too much about it. Monsterarts I really gotta weigh the option.. but I might, still debating, might jump on this one.

... And I just told myself I'd never bother with SHMA MV figures.

S.H Monster arts has no reason to charge the hell out of each figure that has little to no accessories for a Whooping $130 plus tax and shipping. And even if it did come with accessories they’d feel generous enough to charge us around $200 plus tax and shipping.
In fact my big problem with most toy companies that have the Godzilla license to produce figures purposely charge the hell out of low quality figures and if it is high quality it’ll be twice if not three times more expensive than than it was before it was announced.

I'm hoping 72 Godzilla is the standard of the quality now going forward.

He looks great! I've really been enjoying the -1.0, and '72 Gojis, so I'm very hopeful this is will carry over some of those improvements.

Can't agree with you more. Bandai is coming out swinging with these reveals.

Hmm.. they did the Hiya-style backwards neck seams, which tends to limit articulation. Looks surprisingly good tho, usually backwards seams look super ugly.

For MonsterVerse I think it works well for Hiya so far. I'm hoping it has some of the Lil sculpting details, like 1972 has, that help add to the range of motion.
