Looks alright all things considered. Really if you had just used the fur at a smaller scale, (or used one of the finer haired furs from their webpage) it probably would have come out looking pretty graet. I think the big scale of that material, with it's deep depth and height variation that blown up made it look more like large chunky dragon scales rather than fur, which would have been great for a dragon-bear. :) As you said, the theory is sound, and the tools are there, it's definitely worth tinkering with
Haha a dragon-bear is certainly something to keep in mind for future projects. And I think you're right that if I were to use a smaller scale fur it would probably solve most of the issues I was running into.
