After the dust settled, Dr. Bonifant changed his name and became a doctor elsewhere.

Over the course of the TV movies and TV series, David Banner uses aliases, keeping his first name as "David", but changing his last name (for obvious reasons.)
The last name always is different, but always starts with the letter "B". You would think that after every extraordinary incident involving the Hulk, that reporter Jack McGee would put two and two together while interviewing witnesses. Everywhere the creature shows up, there is a guy named "David B_____" who is sure to be mentioned by other people involved.

Laurie Prange, a very familiar and very pretty face from 1970s television.

It was actually funny when Michael gave the Hulk such a strong drink, he spit it into the fire, causing the fire to rise up, scare the Hulk, and he runs away.😂😂is is 😂

Agreed. And I made a mistake there. His chicken got burnt when the Hulk spewed his alcohol flambe at it.

Just like the Frankenstein monster. Fire scares him.
Hulk eats the drumstick, bones and all. Makes me wonder the aftereffects that David is gonna suffer later on with a belly full of bones.

    A "cackleberry" is an egg.
A "Castleberry" is a sassy Texas waitress.

Thanks. I was pretty sure Michael used "cackleberry" wrong.

What is the difference between a cackleberry and a Castleberry?
You can eat a cackleberry with grits, but with a Castleberry, the grits are for kissing!

The scene between Michael and the Hulk may have been a shout-out to the scene between the Monster and the old man in one of the early Frankenstein movies. It's very well-done here. I didn't know "Liam" was a version of "William," and I have a nephew named Liam!

This is playing very much like a Gothic novel---the orphan girl, the mansion, the fortune-hunter, the loyal man who loves the heroine and the mysterious stranger. I don't recall if Jane Austen ever introduced a radiated green guy...

Thanks for explaining gleaning. I always lived in midwest suburbs. I didn't know gleaning was an established and legal thing.

It may vary from state to state, it's been several years and 7 states since I looked into it. I'd check state regulations and laws.

I seem to recall Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath", where farmers burned their grape crops. There were armed men standing ready to prevent desperate hungry people from eating them. (I wonder if that actually happened in real life.)

I'm pretty sure it did. My dad's family was part of that migration, and they told some depressing stories.

Hulks origin for the show is much more easy to stomach. His origin in the comics is so sad & depressing and ultimately imo unnecessary in the grand scheme of Marvel origins at the time

Hello, Dave! Well this first "episode" laid out some ground rules for the show to follow: 1. David always picks a surname with a "B" initial, Benton, Baxter, Barton, etc. and 2. This was where you could set your watch by when the hulk outs would happen, just before the halfway point or at the final ten minutes of each episode. Formulaic, but familiar enough for audiences to follow. Loving this reaction series, Dave, keep 'em comng! 🙂

    Good Afternoon Sir Irving!!!
I hope you will(or can) do the whole Hulk Tv series???
Or do particular episodes that summarize the show till the end of its run???
I also love the "Greatest American Hero" and "Lois and Clark"......
