Exactly, Im a german main from a soviet main, The german tanks are far better at most BRs 6.7 and under, Yet the teams are almost always brain dead and then die after playing like such only to complain about how OP the soviets are. The soviets really arent OP, There is no russian bias, I fight russian tanks and planes perfectly fine, The only problems I EVER have are with the american tech tree.

This is why KD matters and win rate doesn't. You can only kill so much until you get overwhelmed by the enemy because your entire team collapsed and you're the last German left.
I’m a decent Germany player and It is annoying when my teammates are so bad, there are times I manage to get to a position and hold it or flank the enemy and get a bunch of kills until someone comes revenge bombing just for me to look at who is left on my team and half the team leaves after 1 death
I agree I have only been playing a few months got some decent skills and I die a lot. But what is with these guys 1 and dones. Teamates just dissappear so fast.

Really, i play a few hours in 2017, then left, come back in 2020 and now i'm again, even thinking on buying premiun. For me it's becoming a more mature experience, now i'm playing in realistic at 5.3 with russia and 4.3 in Britain (only tanks)

being completely honest here, im a german main and have to fully watch these struggles of my teammates either being a good co-operative team or just run 'n gun and die without a kill, its why I bought a A1A1 and strictly play 9.0 with it (RB of course) I usually grind out 3 or 4 kills per rb (7 on lucky occasions). And I also do have the M48A2 C, ive used it at 9.0 too and it can effectively kill tanks like the T-72AV, XM-1's and most other vehicles if used correctly so gaijin down-tiering its BR makes no sense, if it was up to me id put it at 8.0 if not 8.3.
I mean the Tiger Two H can go down to 6.3 because just like the 76 jumbo it faces things that completely outcompete it in all areas like the IS-3 and T54
Then the Germans complain that the M48 is op (as it would be, same as the A1) and cry untill it gets moved up to a higher br than it was before the change while the A1 gets moved even lower. Happens every time.
@@JoshVmanly i personally disagree, the m26 pershing is my favorite vehicle to play right now, is one of my first tanks with 2:1 kd (i now i'm kinda bad at this game but i enjoy playing anyway). It doesn't do anything exceptionally, but doesn't lack anything for me, the amor isn't the best but can be kinda trolling sometimes, especially hull down. The gun can deal with most enemies (okay you will need apcr but it's fine), and the m82 it's a joy to use really. The mobility is really not best but it's enough to take a position and flank king tigers.

US M46 and M47 and M48 are higher br... this is peak bullshit considering the M46 is a Pershing hotfix from 1948 that gave it a real power pack, the M47 had a short run from 1951 before the M48 in 1953, and this piece of shit M48A2C can't be from any earlier than the 60's when the AVDS-1790 was replacing the gas AV-1790's on the tanks built in the 50's. You get smoke dischargers, the diesel, the NV spot lamp at .6 lower br... among other shit the original M48 does not.
75mm jumbo faces jagpanthers and tiger 2 p's more often than not and gaijin thinks that is balanced. its bad players and good players creating stats that gaijin look at and don't even play their own game. like game breaking bugs they don't fix until everyone screams at them to do so. and not blaming the ability of the players, just gaijin method of balancing

Soviets also struggle with Germany mains being bad at the game. For example, T-44 are basically Panthers from USSR, but the BR is 6.3 instead of 5.3 (also, the 85mm shells don't do shit against heavies from that rank). IS-2 still have a 100mm armor on the turret and the 30 fucking seconds reload to shoot a buggy shell which gets absorbed by enemy tanks.
The firefly and avenger at 4.7 slaps everything. Panzer 4s, wack. Tiger 1s, wack. Panthers, wack. Those damn German kv1s, wack. They should honestly keep those there

as a german main, i hate that my almost all of my teammates have the intelligence of a brick, ive been playin WT for 3 years now, and recently ive been playing germany less and less, not because its a bad nation, quite the opposite, but that the playerbase is so dumb and terrible i feel bad associating myself with them. i like german tanks, and i like playing them, but i just cant deal with it anymore. there are alot of good german mains, who are sensible and smart, but they're so few and far inbetween. anyways love ur content spooks, keep up the great work.

I made it to the tiger 2h just to get uptiered and flanked by post war tanks,i think there should be a rework of the br system would help balance the armor to gun ratio,requiring skill,but being able to use armor as an advantage
i say this to often, this game has alot of potential, the only thing holding back that potential is the devs doing things like this every patch, instead of adding newer things znd breaking the game more and more they should for one update stop adding and developing things and focus and repairing the broken bugs and stupid br changes that plague this game the most, if theyd fix the brs such as decompressing them and giving them brs worth there capabilitys and fix game breaking bugs such as ghost shells or ghost AAMs or even just the texture bugs im sure many older players would be happy to return as well as newer players wont be as likely to quit once they begin reaching mid tiers
Gaijin made a great thing, then have proceeded to hold it back. The best thing they could do for the game is sell it on to a different company which has more interested in assuring the longevity of the game and focusing more on player retention. But why would they sell such a cash cow?
I just got into the game a few months ago and it kills me to see all these crap changes Gajin is doing. This game is one of my top favorites and I don't want it die.
this is russian (post soviet) way of doing business and making money - get as much money as you can in the shortest possible period of time with the least amount of effort you can afford. They are adding more and more stuff just to force you to pay to get prem account or prem vehicle. They'll keep doing this, until this model works and it will work for a long time it seems.

Grinding T95 was made so shit by that, and the 1960's YEET-FS toxins infesting their side of the battle. Most matches were- Germany spawns Pumas/Ru-251/LeKpz, rushes cap, ambushes team just leaving spawn, spawn cannon plane, rape spawns, return in Tigor/Panther II/BMP/Leopard, autopen everyone to submission. Almost forgot about the pricks running around naked in the backfield platoon packing up their EBR's with R3's to be annoying. So your barrel is out and the EBR is time traveler click masturbating on your team.
@@lector-dogmatixsicarii1537 I agree on the Ru 251, it should go higher but it doesn't cuz premiums sells well. The rest on the otherhand aren't vehicles particular op. The Puma is 2.7, M41 exists in the us tree aswell, Leopard is a 7.7 tank which is a very good spot for it (unfortunatly it goes down to 7.3). The Me 262 A1 U4 requires you to percisely hit the target and is nothing i would call to strong (come on, the US gets access to the best cas in the game with A2Ds, AD4s and so on). To the Tigers, atleast the 2H is a fine tank, but will aswell as you did, often get killed by heat slinging vehicles. Tiger 1 H on the otherhand is probably too low (didn't drove it in years).

Leopard like so many others have no business shooting 1960's YEET shells at T95's. All these br's are pushing the sweat meta dragging everyone else into them. All CAS is cancer thanks especially to 3rd person laser aiming and the ease of getting it. Americans have ordinance, but German CAS is by far the worst with the cannons and under tier prototype/share cancer shit storming. Get spawn raped a few times by MK108's and tell me an American P47 is worse (almost forgot about the Hitlerbolt so Germany can do P47 too).

I leave after 1 death because I use cent 3 which has an ungodly 12.5k repair cost so if I don't kill like 5 guys and get a cap I make a loss and spawning a new tank could only make the loss even greater
I was playing with a friend ( I was a panther D and he was a Tiger E) he died to a 76 jumbo and immediately left he had other tanks in his lineup (tiger H1 and Panther D) but he still left. I killed the jumbo but ended up dying to a super pershing who flanked me.
theres not all vehicles shown. Every nation got lower and higher brs, german radkampfwagen got an higher br, tam2c too, m48a2 stayed at 7.0 and i really cant understand why the jpz4-5 got on 6.3.. it was at 6.7 well performing and without these changes, i think generally the Panther A/F/Gs should be at 6.0.. now A and F at 5.7.. unnessecary.. same thing for the Ostwind II, should stayed at 5.7..
I mean, IS tanks are the worst heavies in the game. Thin armor, bad cannon, bad maneuverability, bad versatility etc. At least for me, IS-2 facing T26E-1 and T34 is not fair at all. Also, not only the heavies are outmatched by every other nation, but quite the entire 5.3 - 7.3 rank

I gotta agree with you. Honestly, I'm thinking about taking a "Hiatus" from War thunder just because of these changes. I really hope they don't change it, but knowing Gaijin they will.
I have top tier in five nations, I have been playing since the only two tech trees were Germany and Russia, and I feel the same way. In the hands of a competent company this game could be amazing. But Gaijin keeps taking two steps back for every one toward and they are going to eventually kill War Thunder.
If you are looking for an alternative, Heroes and Generals is a nother free to play world war 2 game that is available on steam and I am enjoying it a lot as of late. There are no premiums, the 3 factions (U.S., Germany and Soviets) are pritty well balanced (although germany mains also disagree in that aspect in H&G) , there is infanterie, tanks, paratroopers, planes and recons (snipers) and I actualy prefere the tank gameplay since tanks are actualy well balanced with a number of mechanics like armor degredation (something that gaijin wont implement because it will make their OP premium heavys less OP). It is not a easy game however so if you want to start out, I would recommend watching some tutorials first.
Ash Rodrigues I don’t know what you are talking about but I had a horrendous experience with the M26 Pershing as the Panther hull just absorbed any shot that wasn’t extreme pen. I like the Super Pershing more as it actually feels like a heavy tank, I actually survived some front shots with it.
Why is the American t32e1 at 7.7? It's armour is rendered useless by all the HEAT slingers and it's using a gun that can be found on the 6.3 super Pershing.
I main Germany and regularly get 4-5 kills a game with the M48A2, most of the time my only downfall is that nobody checks flanks and my team is absolutely braindead when it comes to basic attentiveness. Seriously, they have no idea what is going on around them until they see the kill cam and complain that it's unbalanced
We need BRs reflective of technological era. Like stabilized tanks with APDS/APFSDS should not be fighting tanks that don't have it. Same with other technologies like Thermals and HEAT-FS.
Why? the BRENUS has no stabilizer , the warrior has none, the leopard 1 has none, and arte they doing worse than fully stabilized tanks? No. And really, heatfs is not that good.just for hullbreak, i would take thee apds on the leo 1 over the heatshell any day. And with Thermals. Russian simply lacked thermals on mbts, even early t80 were produced without them.i know that its unfair to play without thermals in top tier, but hey, its like fighting without 30g missiles in jet combat
Nah a purely historical matchmaking would be amazing imo. 76 shermans going against the original Tigers would be nice. The higher up more OP tigers, would be going against M26s and Heavy T34's

Heat sucks and i have atm more fun with the 10.3 Centauro MGS than with the one at 8.0. My KD in the latter is abysmal (i think it was smth around 0.7) and even though the aubl lacks rangefinder and thermals, i still prefer it over the centauro because apfsds is so much more reliable only situations where heat is better is against light tanks. Especially the french mbts were a pain in that regard.
I quit the game years ago and came back when some friends of mine started playing. I have since regretted my decision to come back as the game is just not that fun to play. Mechanics don't make sense, balance is nonexistent, the player base is toxic when they aren't just being incompetent and often times they're both, and Gaijin's utter refusal to fix their mistakes or address actual problems in the game on top of their incredibly poor business decisions and several anti-consumer decisions and sheer disrespect of their players makes me wonder why I ever want to play the game at all.
I main germany and have never thought of my vehicle to be somewhat worse then enemy's tanks. The only thing I constantly complain about are the teammates. Like seriously, germany 9.0 is hilariously OP and yet just yeasterday I had 4 matches in which I gained 15 kills and lost because my team wasn't able to get half the points I did. The fact that most of german players are so braindead made me consider switching main nation to USA or USSR a couple of times
Swap to Japan, their tanks are so bad that only the truly masochistic or those in search of a challenge play them. Also small tech tree, I got to rank 5 in a fraction the time that it took playing Germany.
@@Delly_bean The funny thing is that the only players who are complaining are major nation players. I love my Japanese tanks (I don't know why). Tbh for me, it's easier to play against the Leopard 2 than against the Russian's MBTs. The Weakspot of the Leo is soo huge that you cant miss it....

Historical matchmaking: you get to spawn a panther and then operate the crane that puts it on the train carriage that'll replace the transmission that tore itself apart from driving 200km.
Fuking ebr is undertiered as hell and I hope they don't nerf it, just fix it's traction characteristics and the 105 mm and move it somewhere higher but this will expose their power creep when it was first released

Tiger 2 H at 5.7 when and Tiger h1 must go to 2.0 to be historically accurate and indestructible because at 2.3 it might get uptiered and penned in the commanders cupola
I don't play War Thunder, but I know for a fact that an American Sherman tank and a Russian T-34-85 from 1944 would almost never be fighting a German Patton in 1954.
Yeah, I'll admit it, Germany was my first "main nation" and yes, I rushed the Tiger H1. This was before I was heavily in to ww2 tanks, but by the time I got the Tiger H1, I was pretty well versed in aspects of IRL ww2 armoured warfare. When I first got the tiger it took me roughly 10 games to get ONE KILL, and i was soo fed up with war thunder. I thought at 5.3 the tank was horrible, that it should be 4.3. needless to say, i expected that i was just going to be impenetrable, and would be able to kill everything in my path. Pretty stupid now i look at it. Until i took the time to learn how to play the vehicle i was god awful. I now have a decently positive KD with the vehicle and well over 300 kills (RB). I think that Germany players just expect to be impenetrable, like in the "war films" and the stats and their opinions reflect it. They dont realise that "historical" matchmaking would make the game unplayable, but gaijin keeps babying them, and god, i wish i still played that nation.

@@teilohow3561 British lineup from 4.0 up to 7.0 is just not fun. All you have are somewhat decent guns that won't kill anything with 1 shot bcs no APHE You got bad mobility (for the most part) and bad Armour (for the most part) I really don't enjoy British tanks at all anymore.

@@LordCybot That's not a problem exclusive to Germany though, the IS-3 gets completely obliterated by anything it faces except for the once in a lifetime 6.3 down tiers, the T34 Heavy gets its asshole ripped apart even at its own BR and the Ho-Ri gets eaten alive by anything with more than 200mm penetration, which is a lot of things at its BR. The Tiger 2H's problem is the same one ass all 6.3+ Heavy Tanks face, but for some reason only the Germans ever get preferential treatment and matchmaking to fix the issue.
In my opinion, it should be a good change. Keep in mind that the Soviets don't really have a medium with good pen since the first T 34 85. And at that tier the 100mm isn't anything crazy.
For me stuck in 5.7 and getting up tiered to 6,7 often, this is a travesty, and yes I'm a Germany player, but I do like to vary it up sometimes with the Americans and Soviets.

Pffft a Sturer Emil I've seen that thing die much faster it's usually the first one to go and it's basically a Bigger Dicker Max with a horrendously long reload I frequently kill that thing with the 3.3 M4A1 Sherman and the 2.3 M5A1 Stuart even sometimes the M16 GMC SPAA that is how weak the Sturer Emil is even than its not a very viable TD being an open top it's easy pickings for planes, artillery and rockets.

I know it’s not very maneuverable and vulnerable to shots from even 37s, but it’s not a heavy tank. It shouldn’t need to take hits. It should sit 600+ yards behind allies and shoot from afar. It retains penetration at range extremely well, it’s accurate, and has god like depression. It’s a perfect tank destroyer

@@chikinnungetsucks1801 2A7? Its not in the game. And the 2A5 is an average MBT with its average pen and its slightly above average armor. The 2A6 is only good when you have the DM53 with its 653mm pen. But tbh the leos have the same weak spots as every top tier MBT and they dont do anything perfectly. They are just very good allrounders but a good abrams,T80/72 or else can 1 shot a Leo ... At top tier you can easily one shot every other MBT but you have to know the weakspots
@@Lxcx333 The most consistent matchup for Germans is agaisnt US. Let me put into perspective how broken it currently is. For the M1a2, the leopard 2a5 and 2a6 are equivelent, needing to hit the hull or side and the turrets being impenetrable. For the leopard 2a6, the M1a1 can be killed anywhere, and the M1a2 is abit harder to kill, needing to aim for the same weak spots like mantlet (which is larger and more consistent on abroms) when facing frontally. So right off the bat at 10.7, 2 German tanks are competitive agaisnt M1a2 but only 1 American tank is competitive agaisnt leo2a6. This explains the majority of the win rate. But that's not all. The leopard 2a6 is decidedly SUPERIOR to the M1a2 in the first place due to the dm53 shell. To illustrate how broken it is, the leopard 2a6 can penetrate the Abrams turret cheeks. No, this is not a weak spot, the entirety of the turret cheeks can be penetrated as long as its past 30 degrees. This leads to Abrams being able to be killed ANYWHERE if you even so much as look the wrong way.
Yup. Its the main reason I stopped playing this game. 6.7 had a lot of my favorite WW2 era tanks. But I was constantly fighting Cold War tanks. I didn't care what tanks the enemy uses as long as they were from WW2 or before. Not Cold War.

I hear more people poke fun at German players or saying how they always complain than I see actual German players doing those things. A shitty decision on gaijins part, but not much to do with the supposed whining of German players as much as it is just down to poor balancing decisions. Most of the comment section seems to be complaining about the playerbase for Germany and not the poor decision making of the developer.
I agree it's not Gaijin caving in to complaints. They've proven time and time again they don't give a damn what the community wants. It's because their dodgy stats only take into account things like average k/d, rather than logically looking at the vehicles abilities, or taking into account average user skill. That being said, you only need to look at an update of a vehicle that isn't German, or spend some time on the forums to see they are by far the most vocal part of the community when it comes to bitching about things.

My final straw was when I made a post about improving CAS, which got a bit of traction before a mod strait up deleted it, saying I posted it in the wrong section (suggestions rather than constructive criticism), then after I typed it all out again, the mod in the other area deleted it and told me to put it back in suggestions, and when I pointed out it was one of the mods that made me move it, I was told not to criticise the mods, and that it was my final warning (first warning too). Not bothered trying to contribute since.
Their are just alot of people who main germany who complains alot, they complained about hellcat too fast 4 u, sherman jumbo cause their 88mm cant pen it easily, they also complained about CAS alot despite having the most braindead SPAA in the game but people who plays their SPAA rather go kill a tank than doing their job as a SPAA, they also the reason why the bombers have a very braindead DM. Yes its not really the fault of most german players but given most players who newly joined in this game will always go for Germany,Russia or US but most will go for Germany cause MY GERMAN ENGINEERING,KRUPPPP STALLLLL ARMOR or whatever, then complains alot which gaijin listens to cause their are many players that are maining germany.

Lets venture and find the first AGM plane for each nation. 1. For America its A-4 on 8.7, but you only get 3 at best. 2. For USSR its Yak-38M on 9.7, with 2. 3. For Britain its Scimitar F on 8.7 with 2 again. 4. Japan has none. 5. China has an F-100A on 9.7 with 2. 6. Italy has none(excluding the premium). 7. France has Etenard 4M on 9.0 with 2. 8. Sweden has SK60B at 7.3 with 2. You can already see, what i am getting at. No nation offers you two, TWO planes that can carry 4 AGM(if you choose to buy a premium). So yeah, its very unbalanced. @@Adrirenn I've had the complete other experience. I mainly play Brits at 9.7 so I'm often with the Americans, versing the Germans/Russians. The Germans literally swarm the skies with their G91s, I've literally resorted to bringing out my Lightning to deal with them, and while I've seen it less at 9.7, at 9.0 and 8.3 mid game I would often not be able to get into the combat zone in my Heli or plane because of the sheer number of gepards flooding the airspace with those 35mm.
It's funny, when I started the game I started with Japan, and till now, we only got 4 new vehicles for Japan and I got all the names of these vehicles, I started in 2018 btw, late 2018, and then the German players start crying about how unbalanced the game is pffft, for every cry baby let me tell you something, if you can get at least 3 vehicles in a line up and In the same battle rating then be greatful about it, because with Japan (and I'm excluding the planes), you only have 3 good battle ratings, 2.0-2.3/6.0-6.7/8.0-8.9. And they are not even balanced btw.
I had alot written down on how my fellow german mains can fix it (mostly about teamwork and just 'usin yer noodle' to think tactically and find the best positions for a given tank class but my phone wigged out and erased the comment. So suffice to say. My fellow german mains on average in my exprience dont think tactically. They dont pick a vehicle at least mediocre in performance for given map situations and just get in a rut of *drive to a point. Cap. Angle (if that) shoot somthing. Die.* and just keep respawning and throwing themselves at the meat grinder. To the point i have to remind everyone theyre playing german ground forces not soviet. Just please guys. Think. Think about what vehicle you need to a given tactical situation. And think about where on the map the best position is for you and that vehicle. Preferably a place with at least cover, concealment also is a great addition. Im sick of having to put my sturer emil into CQC to cap points or hold down entire flanks on my own and babysit two capture points in a bloody puma, because my teammates derp train into bored allied tanks who just sit in the same spots lazily clicking away! \(-_-*)/ Im not tooting my own horn here. Im just frustrated that my fellow german mains cry gaijin abuse, distracting the games devs from fixing ACTUAL glitches and problems in the first place. Because theyre angry that they cant liveout their history channel docomentry fantasies and magicaly absorb or deflect all incoming rounds at the flick of a german engineered switch. Not all vehicles at perfect. They have their pros and cons. Learn your vehicles. And use them appropriatly. I try to teach people where to go or play specific classes on a map, but people just dont listen more often than not... To all of you german mains out there that work as a team or try to. i rush in and cap and try my best but in my experience im just shit and here for a good time not a long time, ofcourse im not the level of germany suffer stupid just play the hetzer and stugs and say that they suffer, at 5.7 they have by far one of the best lineups with panthers and tiger which in the hands of someone even remotely capable are amazing, i still don't know all the maps the best and im having fun with anything below 6.7 because of some bs that i deal with when im playing 6.7 and i just like relaxing in the lower br's
In general my advice for everyone would be 1. always flank, your teammates are probably gonna be dumb and rush ahead, at most you'll get an R3 flanking but 2 flankers can't hold down the flanks on their own. 2. Don't just sit still the entire game, always change position, once you've killed someone and there isn't anyone immediately visible move to a new position if possible. Sitting in the same place is how you get outflanked or killed by aircraft and furthermore moving up is how your team gains map control which is ultimately how the game is won. 3. Don't spawn camp until all the points are taken, too often German players if they manage to flank will just rush up to the spawn while only capturing 1 point, you might get a few kills this way but it actually doesn't help your team because the enemy obviously has the advantage in the spawn. 4. Always ping an enemy when you see them, just hold down alt and then your cursor will appear and you can click on the minimap to ping that location. It helps your team so much. I've been playing France a lot and like the big difference I've noticed between Axis and Allied teams is that on Allied teams people will just naturally spread out a bit because people have learned to flank in order to counter broken vehicles like the R3 while on Axis teams said broken vehicles will be the only ones to flank. Because of this lack of spreading out on German teams I end up having to play selfishly because I can't expect my teammates to take opportunities I give to them or report enemy locations.
personally, I don't see that much whining in the forums but that is personally I'm an aircraft person and what do you expect its the reverse in my opinion until they raised the p47 and well p51 since I don't have the right opinion in most people's mind I will ignore the problem with planes props are very hard to say balanced and again the allied player's stats are still I'd say average but with exception of the P51 (no thank you I'm not gonna attack peoples opinion the p51) the p47 at 4.3 is fine the p47d28 is great if you use it right the problem with the airforce of lower tiers is that it seems german teams and most other nations got a buff while japan and the united states lost variety while the axis side increased its variety with already strong planes being silently buffed but do I personally know about ground forces? No. The reason for me is because I have never played tanks and you are entitled to your own opinion, but for planes, I really think its the players as most of the aircraft except for a few *cough cough are fairly balanced. After all, planes are cool even if air rb is a trainwreck.
Ok Gaijin, here's what you need to do. Model stuff like mechanical reliability, access to resources, tank numbers, basically everything suggested in Historically Accurate, and then give us historical matchmaking until German players complain that their tiger 2s should actually be facing M3 Lees and Matildas

I always laughed when Germs complained about allied CAS. Meanwhile you dump 12 HVARs and a 500lb on a Tiger's roof and get damaged tracks to see some twin-engined monstrosity rack three M-60s from the front with it's cannons.

@@liviuganea4108 As a person who plays Cannon and Rocket and Bomb CAS, I can quite confidently say that Cannon CAS is the easier option. Bombs and rockets are pretty inconsistent. With Bombs being nerfed recently, wherein terrain fucks with them more than before. Rockets, such as HVAR or the Soviet RS/RB-82/132 normally don't have enough penetration to get through the sides of tanks, and are pretty inaccurate so making a roof hit is pretty unreliable. Not to mention you have a pretty small amount of them, normally around 8-10 rockets compared to hundreds of cannon round. Of course there are and will always be an exception to that, such as the SNEBs which are pretty good and accurate. I can say on a good day I can get 3 kills with traditional CAS planes. As for cannon CAS, due yo how brain dead easy it is, I can easily get away with 5 or even 8 kills with enough ammo conservation and the team guaranteeing air superiority and taking out enemy/terrain neutralizing enemy SPAAG.

The only change I don't really have a problem with for Germany is the sturer emil, because nothing will really change, it'll still have a massive fuckoff gun that can kill almost anything it fights and still have poor armor with an open top and poor mobility. I don't think people will suddenly start playing it again because the cause of death is more often than not getting strafed by a plane before you can get to a position

@@humzaakhtar9208 it don't, dicker has smaller chassis with more flexible gun stats and what felt like a little better mobility. Also it gets less fucked by strafes since the ammo isn't 128mm stacked on the walls.
@@humzaakhtar9208 both are survivable by nature because of their huge breach and layout but the armor isn't thick enough to bounce any half decent cannon. What most likely is the case is that the driver hub on the sturer eats shells but since it reloads for 3 decades your second hit can easily take out the breach/crew Edit, survivable as being able to stretch time and points by being a corpse that lives.
God when you play a king Tiger right you can legitimately just walk the enemy back to their spawn with no effort. I’ve gotten multiple 10+ kill games in them with the enemy not being able to do anything to me.

@@Onyxar No, the Centurion Mk.1 is definitely a tank that needed a BR change for years. A medium tank at 5.7 that has better armor than a Tiger 1, better pen, and just as maneuverable? Somehow that tank deserves to have the same BR as a 76mm Sherman which is worse in all regards.
His atrocious and biased testing aside, the German M48 is worse than the US version. Still, it's not worse to a degree that they should be at different BR's, both should be at 7.3.
Yeah the Teams are the main issue. I am currently grinding the French Tanks and everytime im on Germanys side we loose. But if you have a good German Team you just destroy the other Team. By the way im currently at 4.7-5.3

I agree. 5 games in a row they rush get fuc*ed and enemy overwhelm us pretty fast. Esspecially when playing against americans :D damn Super pershings xD but it is still funn for evening gaming :) for example with 2 panthers we smoked 12 guys just sitting near C point on Normady :) .......just learn your vehicles guys :D also playing russians and taking little ASU 57 or PT 76B .......its playable and fun even on 7.0 +
It is shit that tigers made in 1942 fight tanks from the 50s. It's not that there aren't tanks to kill them. There's tier 1 russian tanks that can kill tiger 1s.
I just spaded the T-80B. Why is it getting downtiered. While the M48 is ridiculous it has enough attention. The T-80B is going to shred at 9.7 with its mobility, 3BM42 and armor will actually work at 9.7

Germany has the best 6.7 line up in the game. Maybe if it only fought other 6.7 tanks. I stopped playing the TIGER 2 because it routinely gets wrecked in up tiers, and it always seemed to be in uptier battles, couple this with the manlet being so easy to pen, which I abuse when fighting against 6.7 Germans. I do agree the M48 shouldnt be down tiered. Instead we need to stop having cold war era vehicles fighting WW2 era vehicles.
Why do people pretend like the Tiger 2 is the only tank at it's BR with a turret weakspot, nearly all 6.7 heavies have that, and it's not even much of an issue if you play correctly and don't completely rely on armor. Also I think that early cold war tanks (M46, Centurion Mk.3, T-54 etc.) should fight late WW2 tanks because things like the King tiger would be broken OP if they didn't.

The problem is German, and also russian, tech tree players rely too much on their armour, even on the Jumbo i move as if i'm using a Chaffe. You get Tiger 2 vs cold war tanks because it was an overly complex (by the time) and expensive. Ww2 Germany was not sporting tigers as their standard
@@soloaceyt3483 Look at it this way, Centurions are also very slow and can't even rely on their armor at their own BR. The only thing centurions have going for them is their APDS. You don't see centurion players complaining despite this. Another example is the tortoise, which is arguably worse than the Tiger 2 but I still do fine in it most of the time.

Tiger is excellent tho, it has the same playstyle as a Panzer IV except it’s more bouncy and has trollish armor. Much better than the Panther D with it’s nonexistent turret

It has only 25ish mm more than the ariete ...and there nobody complains i dont get it. I know the leo 2a6 is very good but it is just a leo 2a5 with more pen ... it has the same weakspots as every other top tier mbt... its always the same... you shoot first and place your shot good = you win
@@Lxcx333 I mean yeah, but the Ariete has way less armor than the Leo series. The composite screens and composite blocks are really OP, for the reason it has a 90% win rate. And even with the PSO Tipo 2 armor package the Ariete still suffers against a standard ol Soviet cannon. So overall the 2A6 is a combo of both great armor and great firepower making it a little too op if played correctly.
@@lance_the_avocado9492 the armor is great yes but the abrams has literally the same impenetrable areas and the leos can be easily penetrated st the hull (even higher plate not like russians and abrams) and the breech is bigger than on the russians and the leclercs. So overall it has the same weakspots as all the other top tier MBTs but you have to know where to shoot and i personally experience that more than every second enemy shoots at the impenetrable turret areas ... i mean jsut shoot the gun or the breech ?
Just as bad to me is that about 50 to 75% of the time I have noticed that EBRs tend to be only one life spawners as well. Not as fun for either team IMO.
Xd think about object 120 moving to fucking 7.3 while tiger 2 h is 6.7 yes good joob gaijin. Also dont forget to moving ebr to 5.0 really, it will change everything.

I'm a main germany but I don't focus on one nation, during WINTER Operation I was grinding france, and when I got the M4 SA50.... God, how much I suffered with the Panther spam and veteran players using them to do the event, what a pain.
We should give German mains historical matchmaking for like a month so we can watch it dawn on them that they now have to face the KV-1 with reserve tanks, or the T-64A at 7.7
The true genius in historical matchmaking is their captured/share tanks aren't same br or lower than the original. Share tanks would rarely be same br. Historical MM comes with historical performance. So ridiculously bad KV/T-34 handling with a side of shit materials and cat issues. The Puma/LeKpz/Ru251/RadKancer whine when they get stuck in battles with things that can fuck them back would be beautiful. The T-64 never left Russia. T-64A upgrades weren't until years later into the MBT-70 era. You would have some dumb ass costs to go with unexpected things holding you back, especially with the original version. Your competition in the M60A1 had best in era fire control, a better stabilizer, better turret rotation rate, certain thickness at angles that can shatter your composite rod unfavorably, gun depression, a viable reverse gear, a fire rate twice that of yours, plus the ammo stowage isn't death. But your armor package was near witchcraft [discounting American silicate armor] for the time, as long as no one knew how to exploit it. The premise of Leopard 2A6 Against M1A2 SEP or Pwnther getting Penned by T33 shot is just too much balans to be legal.
I love playing my German tanks and usually do pretty good and end up on top of our team but lately I find my whole team dies a minute or so in and I get flanked by several tanks and we get spawned killed the rest of the match. This is also at only 5.7br so that may not help any. I've been taking a break from my German tanks to level some others up and it's been much better lol
I think germany it's the best nation, when I and my teammates do our job right it can feel diety because you notice that germany its mostly a point and click adventure

It's the easiest way to implement garbage like this. In WoT as an example, Wargaming implemented multiple broken vehicles at the same time (268 v4, 430U, etc.) and the 430U wasn't changed for a long while because the focus was mainly on the disgusting 268 v4. Wot is build around arcade with 1 life deathmatches and fixed values past the few rng elements that need to change. WT is build for RB and SIM to a point. It's like comparing Tarkov to Csgo in a way.
Gaijin needs to take the route like Siege and have an “Operation Health” where they give the devs TIME AND MONEY “ik Gaijin it’s gonna hurt the wallet” to address the multitude of game breaking issues, have the dev server be up continuously so people can actually verify if they’ve fixed things then continue, and also make sure that fixing something doesn’t break something else again as they’ve done in the past. I’ve been playing wt for 5 years now and the game has come a long way but the issues have only been piling up since then and the problem is that they never get addressed. Thoughts community?
I agree, I don't even think fixing all their shit would take very long. I mean, the community is constantly telling them what should be fixed. In one quick patch they could fix the basic br problems, then get to work on deeper problems.
You're missing the entire point here. They don't want to make the game better, their aim is to purposefully make it as frustrating to play as possible while retaining some players. Their people aren't intelligent enough to make WT good and still bring money. It's a risk and you'd have to be clever about it to pull such a thing off. So they play it safe and go with the classic formula described above. Seems awfully conterintuitive but it is a very and i mean VERY well studied matter. Frustration is one hell of an adversary of the human mind. Our minds will go to any lengths to get rid of frustration. Bugs, horrible server performance costing you kills and making you die, bullshit shots, retarded events, horrible grind, high repaircosts, unbelivably cretin maps and insane 2000's sprites kind of hitboxes and more. All of these are frustrating to us and they go hand in hand. Bug gets you killed, you get few rewards so your grind is longer for instance. The frustration builds up and quickly reaches anger. Then the players think: What is the fastest and best way to rid the frustration? And the answer is: Premium time and vehicles greatly offset the losses incurred by the bugs and other crap form the above written list. Not perfect, but it's by far the best option. The only pronblem with this is that you don't realize you've been purposefully misled (slowly and slowly pushed) into arriving at the previous conclusion. To us, it's like we arrived at the decision ourselves free of influence. Suddenly 150Eur starts to seem like a good deal because our minds know the frustration will go away. I'm on a bit pf a personal crusade against such deceptive tactics. Very similar concepts are used in everything around you for marketing purposes. Sure you may think i'm a conspiracy theorist and you're entitled to your personal opinion, but there is quite a bit of literature on the matter with examples of how simply arranging produce on shelves in a different manner can greatly boost sales. My opinion is that these tactics are applied by weak minded cretins that are undeserving of their place. There is always an alternative that doesn't involve deception, they're just vastly inferior excuses for people and they fail to see it so they deceive people. It being the "make a product so good that people will actually and truly want to buy it, word of it will spread like wildfire and don't dive into post purchase monetization schemes...just offer the world a good thing" Then comes the hard part. If you make an unbelievably good phone for instance (never breaks, insane performance, etc), people won't buy two and won't buy more because it doesn't break. It's up to you to figure out other things to invest in to keep you up and running...perhaps the next generation of phones that offers so much more people would go out of their way to get it. But it takes brains and a whole lot of them at that. Pathetic weaklings like the scammers described above are far too unintelligent to see a proper solution, so they stick with the tried and tested, only interested in making money, not leaving something useful behind.

I’m a decent Germany player and It is annoying when my teammates are so bad, there are times I manage to get to a position and hold it or flank the enemy and get a bunch of kills until someone comes revenge bombing just for me to look at who is left on my team and half the team leaves after 1 death

being completely honest here, im a german main and have to fully watch these struggles of my teammates either being a good co-operative team or just run 'n gun and die without a kill, its why I bought a A1A1 and strictly play 9.0 with it (RB of course) I usually grind out 3 or 4 kills per rb (7 on lucky occasions). And I also do have the M48A2 C, ive used it at 9.0 too and it can effectively kill tanks like the T-72AV, XM-1's and most other vehicles if used correctly so gaijin down-tiering its BR makes no sense, if it was up to me id put it at 8.0 if not 8.3.

@@JoshVmanly i personally disagree, the m26 pershing is my favorite vehicle to play right now, is one of my first tanks with 2:1 kd (i now i'm kinda bad at this game but i enjoy playing anyway). It doesn't do anything exceptionally, but doesn't lack anything for me, the amor isn't the best but can be kinda trolling sometimes, especially hull down. The gun can deal with most enemies (okay you will need apcr but it's fine), and the m82 it's a joy to use really. The mobility is really not best but it's enough to take a position and flank king tigers.

US M46 and M47 and M48 are higher br... this is peak bullshit considering the M46 is a Pershing hotfix from 1948 that gave it a real power pack, the M47 had a short run from 1951 before the M48 in 1953, and this piece of shit M48A2C can't be from any earlier than the 60's when the AVDS-1790 was replacing the gas AV-1790's on the tanks built in the 50's. You get smoke dischargers, the diesel, the NV spot lamp at .6 lower br... among other shit the original M48 does not.

Soviets also struggle with Germany mains being bad at the game. For example, T-44 are basically Panthers from USSR, but the BR is 6.3 instead of 5.3 (also, the 85mm shells don't do shit against heavies from that rank). IS-2 still have a 100mm armor on the turret and the 30 fucking seconds reload to shoot a buggy shell which gets absorbed by enemy tanks.

as a german main, i hate that my almost all of my teammates have the intelligence of a brick, ive been playin WT for 3 years now, and recently ive been playing germany less and less, not because its a bad nation, quite the opposite, but that the playerbase is so dumb and terrible i feel bad associating myself with them. i like german tanks, and i like playing them, but i just cant deal with it anymore. there are alot of good german mains, who are sensible and smart, but they're so few and far inbetween.

I made it to the tiger 2h just to get uptiered and flanked by post war tanks,i think there should be a rework of the br system would help balance the armor to gun ratio,requiring skill,but being able to use armor as an advantage
i say this to often, this game has alot of potential, the only thing holding back that potential is the devs doing things like this every patch, instead of adding newer things znd breaking the game more and more they should for one update stop adding and developing things and focus and repairing the broken bugs and stupid br changes that plague this game the most, if theyd fix the brs such as decompressing them and giving them brs worth there capabilitys and fix game breaking bugs such as ghost shells or ghost AAMs or even just the texture bugs im sure many older players would be happy to return as well as newer players wont be as likely to quit once they begin reaching mid tiers

this is russian (post soviet) way of doing business and making money - get as much money as you can in the shortest possible period of time with the least amount of effort you can afford. They are adding more and more stuff just to force you to pay to get prem account or prem vehicle. They'll keep doing this, until this model works and it will work for a long time it seems.

@@randomt-9034 low tier best tier, if you want a tip for britain, try out this lineup, Cromwell I, Cromwell V, Achilles, Crusader III (or an AA vehicle of your choosing), Churchill III. Planes are optional though you'd give up the Cromwell V
I still use crusader II cause you can slam some 40mm into weak spots quickly and the 26 smoke grenades you get are useful

Grinding T95 was made so shit by that, and the 1960's YEET-FS toxins infesting their side of the battle. Most matches were- Germany spawns Pumas/Ru-251/LeKpz, rushes cap, ambushes team just leaving spawn, spawn cannon plane, rape spawns, return in Tigor/Panther II/BMP/Leopard, autopen everyone to submission.
Almost forgot about the pricks running around naked in the backfield platoon packing up their EBR's with R3's to be annoying. So your barrel is out and the EBR is time traveler click masturbating on your team.

The Puma is 2.7, M41 exists in the us tree aswell, Leopard is a 7.7 tank which is a very good spot for it (unfortunatly it goes down to 7.3). The Me 262 A1 U4 requires you to percisely hit the target and is nothing i would call to strong (come on, the US gets access to the best cas in the game with A2Ds, AD4s and so on). To the Tigers, atleast the 2H is a fine tank, but will aswell as you did, often get killed by heat slinging vehicles. Tiger 1 H on the otherhand is probably too low (didn't drove it in years).

I was playing with a friend ( I was a panther D and he was a Tiger E) he died to a 76 jumbo and immediately left he had other tanks in his lineup (tiger H1 and Panther D) but he still left. I killed the jumbo but ended up dying to a super pershing who flanked me.

Every nation got lower and higher brs, german radkampfwagen got an higher br, tam2c too, m48a2 stayed at 7.0 and i really cant understand why the jpz4-5 got on 6.3.. it was at 6.7 well performing and without these changes, i think generally the Panther A/F/Gs should be at 6.0.. now A and F at 5.7.. unnessecary.. same thing for the Ostwind II, should stayed at 5.7..
I mean, IS tanks are the worst heavies in the game. Thin armor, bad cannon, bad maneuverability, bad versatility etc. At least for me, IS-2 facing T26E-1 and T34 is not fair at all. Also, not only the heavies are outmatched by every other nation, but quite the entire 5.3 - 7.3 rank

I gotta agree with you. Honestly, I'm thinking about taking a "Hiatus" from War thunder just because of these changes. I really hope they don't change it, but knowing Gaijin they will.
I have top tier in five nations, I have been playing since the only two tech trees were Germany and Russia, and I feel the same way. In the hands of a competent company this game could be amazing. But Gaijin keeps taking two steps back for every one toward and they are going to eventually kill War Thunder.
I haven't played since November.
Trust me, tanks and helicopters etc sure are fun, but not when you have to take a hammer to your nutts.
If you are looking for an alternative, Heroes and Generals is a nother free to play world war 2 game that is available on steam and I am enjoying it a lot as of late.
There are no premiums, the 3 factions (U.S., Germany and Soviets) are pritty well balanced (although germany mains also disagree in that aspect in H&G) , there is infanterie, tanks, paratroopers, planes and recons (snipers) and I actualy prefere the tank gameplay since tanks are actualy well balanced with a number of mechanics like armor degredation (something that gaijin wont implement because it will make their OP premium heavys less OP).
It is not a easy game however so if you want to start out, I would recommend watching some tutorials first.

Ash Rodrigues I don’t know what you are talking about but I had a horrendous experience with the M26 Pershing as the Panther hull just absorbed any shot that wasn’t extreme pen. I like the Super Pershing more as it actually feels like a heavy tank, I actually survived some front shots with it.

I main Germany and regularly get 4-5 kills a game with the M48A2, most of the time my only downfall is that nobody checks flanks and my team is absolutely braindead when it comes to basic attentiveness. Seriously, they have no idea what is going on around them until they see the kill cam and complain that it's unbalanced
We need BRs reflective of technological era. Like stabilized tanks with APDS/APFSDS should not be fighting tanks that don't have it. Same with other technologies like Thermals and HEAT-FS.

Heat sucks and i have atm more fun with the 10.3 Centauro MGS than with the one at 8.0. My KD in the latter is abysmal (i think it was smth around 0.7) and even though the aubl lacks rangefinder and thermals, i still prefer it over the centauro because apfsds is so much more reliable only situations where heat is better is against light tanks. Especially the french mbts were a pain in that regard.

I quit the game years ago and came back when some friends of mine started playing. I have since regretted my decision to come back as the game is just not that fun to play. Mechanics don't make sense, balance is nonexistent, the player base is toxic when they aren't just being incompetent and often times they're both, and Gaijin's utter refusal to fix their mistakes or address actual problems in the game on top of their incredibly poor business decisions and several anti-consumer decisions and sheer disrespect of their players makes me wonder why I ever want to play the game at all.

I main germany and have never thought of my vehicle to be somewhat worse then enemy's tanks. The only thing I constantly complain about are the teammates. Like seriously, germany 9.0 is hilariously OP and yet just yeasterday I had 4 matches in which I gained 15 kills and lost because my team wasn't able to get half the points I did. The fact that most of german players are so braindead made me consider switching main nation to USA or USSR a couple of times

I don't play War Thunder, but I know for a fact that an American Sherman tank and a Russian T-34-85 from 1944 would almost never be fighting a German Patton in 1954.
Yeah, I'll admit it, Germany was my first "main nation" and yes, I rushed the Tiger H1.
This was before I was heavily in to ww2 tanks, but by the time I got the Tiger H1, I was pretty well versed in aspects of IRL ww2 armoured warfare.
When I first got the tiger it took me roughly 10 games to get ONE KILL, and i was soo fed up with war thunder. I thought at 5.3 the tank was horrible, that it should be 4.3.
needless to say, i expected that i was just going to be impenetrable, and would be able to kill everything in my path. Pretty stupid now i look at it.
Until i took the time to learn how to play the vehicle i was god awful. I now have a decently positive KD with the vehicle and well over 300 kills (RB).
I think that Germany players just expect to be impenetrable, like in the "war films" and the stats and their opinions reflect it. They dont realise that "historical" matchmaking would make the game unplayable, but gaijin keeps babying them, and god, i wish i still played that nation.

@@LordCybot That's not a problem exclusive to Germany though, the IS-3 gets completely obliterated by anything it faces except for the once in a lifetime 6.3 down tiers, the T34 Heavy gets its asshole ripped apart even at its own BR and the Ho-Ri gets eaten alive by anything with more than 200mm penetration, which is a lot of things at its BR.
The Tiger 2H's problem is the same one ass all 6.3+ Heavy Tanks face, but for some reason only the Germans ever get preferential treatment and matchmaking to fix the issue.

In my opinion, it should be a good change. Keep in mind that the Soviets don't really have a medium with good pen since the first T 34 85. And at that tier the 100mm isn't anything crazy.

I know it’s not very maneuverable and vulnerable to shots from even 37s, but it’s not a heavy tank. It shouldn’t need to take hits. It should sit 600+ yards behind allies and shoot from afar. It retains penetration at range extremely well, it’s accurate, and has god like depression. It’s a perfect tank destroyer

@@Lxcx333 The most consistent matchup for Germans is agaisnt US. Let me put into perspective how broken it currently is. For the M1a2, the leopard 2a5 and 2a6 are equivelent, needing to hit the hull or side and the turrets being impenetrable. For the leopard 2a6, the M1a1 can be killed anywhere, and the M1a2 is abit harder to kill, needing to aim for the same weak spots like mantlet (which is larger and more consistent on abroms) when facing frontally. So right off the bat at 10.7, 2 German tanks are competitive agaisnt M1a2 but only 1 American tank is competitive agaisnt leo2a6. This explains the majority of the win rate. But that's not all. The leopard 2a6 is decidedly SUPERIOR to the M1a2 in the first place due to the dm53 shell. To illustrate how broken it is, the leopard 2a6 can penetrate the Abrams turret cheeks. No, this is not a weak spot, the entirety of the turret cheeks can be penetrated as long as its past 30 degrees. This leads to Abrams being able to be killed ANYWHERE if you even so much as look the wrong way.

I hear more people poke fun at German players or saying how they always complain than I see actual German players doing those things. A shitty decision on gaijins part, but not much to do with the supposed whining of German players as much as it is just down to poor balancing decisions. Most of the comment section seems to be complaining about the playerbase for Germany and not the poor decision making of the developer.
I agree it's not Gaijin caving in to complaints. They've proven time and time again they don't give a damn what the community wants. It's because their dodgy stats only take into account things like average k/d, rather than logically looking at the vehicles abilities, or taking into account average user skill.
That being said, you only need to look at an update of a vehicle that isn't German, or spend some time on the forums to see they are by far the most vocal part of the community when it comes to bitching about things.

@@BBRAIN1977 Not surprising the way the mods act. I gave up doing more than browsing after I had a couple of my posts buried by the mods after I spent a long time putting all the information together.
My final straw was when I made a post about improving CAS, which got a bit of traction before a mod strait up deleted it, saying I posted it in the wrong section (suggestions rather than constructive criticism), then after I typed it all out again, the mod in the other area deleted it and told me to put it back in suggestions, and when I pointed out it was one of the mods that made me move it, I was told not to criticise the mods, and that it was my final warning (first warning too). Not bothered trying to contribute since.
Their are just alot of people who main germany who complains alot, they complained about hellcat too fast 4 u, sherman jumbo cause their 88mm cant pen it easily, they also complained about CAS alot despite having the most braindead SPAA in the game but people who plays their SPAA rather go kill a tank than doing their job as a SPAA, they also the reason why the bombers have a very braindead DM.

1. For America its A-4 on 8.7, but you only get 3 at best.
2. For USSR its Yak-38M on 9.7, with 2.
3. For Britain its Scimitar F on 8.7 with 2 again.
4. Japan has none.
5. China has an F-100A on 9.7 with 2.
6. Italy has none(excluding the premium).
7. France has Etenard 4M on 9.0 with 2.
8. Sweden has SK60B at 7.3 with 2.

The Germans literally swarm the skies with their G91s, I've literally resorted to bringing out my Lightning to deal with them, and while I've seen it less at 9.7, at 9.0 and 8.3 mid game I would often not be able to get into the combat zone in my Heli or plane because of the sheer number of gepards flooding the airspace with those 35mm.

It's funny, when I started the game I started with Japan, and till now, we only got 4 new vehicles for Japan and I got all the names of these vehicles, I started in 2018 btw, late 2018, and then the German players start crying about how unbalanced the game is pffft, for every cry baby let me tell you something, if you can get at least 3 vehicles in a line up and In the same battle rating then be greatful about it, because with Japan (and I'm excluding the planes), you only have 3 good battle ratings, 2.0-2.3/6.0-6.7/8.0-8.9.
And they are not even balanced btw.

I had alot written down on how my fellow german mains can fix it (mostly about teamwork and just 'usin yer noodle' to think tactically and find the best positions for a given tank class but my phone wigged out and erased the comment. So suffice to say.
My fellow german mains on average in my exprience dont think tactically. They dont pick a vehicle at least mediocre in performance for given map situations and just get in a rut of *drive to a point. Cap. Angle (if that) shoot somthing. Die.* and just keep respawning and throwing themselves at the meat grinder. To the point i have to remind everyone theyre playing german ground forces not soviet.
Just please guys. Think. Think about what vehicle you need to a given tactical situation. And think about where on the map the best position is for you and that vehicle. Preferably a place with at least cover, concealment also is a great addition.
Im sick of having to put my sturer emil into CQC to cap points or hold down entire flanks on my own and babysit two capture points in a bloody puma, because my teammates derp train into bored allied tanks who just sit in the same spots lazily clicking away!

Im not tooting my own horn here. Im just frustrated that my fellow german mains cry gaijin abuse, distracting the games devs from fixing ACTUAL glitches and problems in the first place. Because theyre angry that they cant liveout their history channel docomentry fantasies and magicaly absorb or deflect all incoming rounds at the flick of a german engineered switch. Not all vehicles at perfect. They have their pros and cons. Learn your vehicles. And use them appropriatly. I try to teach people where to go or play specific classes on a map, but people just dont listen more often than not...
To all of you german mains out there that work as a team or try to. I tip my hat to you ladies and gents. Keep teaching people how to play whenever possible.
i rush in and cap and try my best but in my experience im just shit and here for a good time not a long time, ofcourse im not the level of germany suffer stupid just play the hetzer and stugs and say that they suffer, at 5.7 they have by far one of the best lineups with panthers and tiger which in the hands of someone even remotely capable are amazing, i still don't know all the maps the best and im having fun with anything below 6.7 because of some bs that i deal with when im playing 6.7 and i just like relaxing in the lower br's

In general my advice for everyone would be 1. always flank, your teammates are probably gonna be dumb and rush ahead, at most you'll get an R3 flanking but 2 flankers can't hold down the flanks on their own. 2. Don't just sit still the entire game, always change position, once you've killed someone and there isn't anyone immediately visible move to a new position if possible. Sitting in the same place is how you get outflanked or killed by aircraft and furthermore moving up is how your team gains map control which is ultimately how the game is won. 3. Don't spawn camp until all the points are taken, too often German players if they manage to flank will just rush up to the spawn while only capturing 1 point, you might get a few kills this way but it actually doesn't help your team because the enemy obviously has the advantage in the spawn. 4. Always ping an enemy when you see them, just hold down alt and then your cursor will appear and you can click on the minimap to ping that location. It helps your team so much.
I've been playing France a lot and like the big difference I've noticed between Axis and Allied teams is that on Allied teams people will just naturally spread out a bit because people have learned to flank in order to counter broken vehicles like the R3 while on Axis teams said broken vehicles will be the only ones to flank. Because of this lack of spreading out on German teams I end up having to play selfishly because I can't expect my teammates to take opportunities I give to them or report enemy locations.

personally, I don't see that much whining in the forums but that is personally I'm an aircraft person and what do you expect its the reverse in my opinion until they raised the p47 and well p51 since I don't have the right opinion in most people's mind I will ignore the problem with planes props are very hard to say balanced and again the allied player's stats are still I'd say average but with exception of the P51 (no thank you I'm not gonna attack peoples opinion the p51) the p47 at 4.3 is fine the p47d28 is great if you use it right the problem with the airforce of lower tiers is that it seems german teams and most other nations got a buff while japan and the united states lost variety while the axis side increased its variety with already strong planes being silently buffed but do I personally know about ground forces? @@liviuganea4108 As a person who plays Cannon and Rocket and Bomb CAS, I can quite confidently say that Cannon CAS is the easier option.
Bombs and rockets are pretty inconsistent. With Bombs being nerfed recently, wherein terrain fucks with them more than before. Rockets, such as HVAR or the Soviet RS/RB-82/132 normally don't have enough penetration to get through the sides of tanks, and are pretty inaccurate so making a roof hit is pretty unreliable. Not to mention you have a pretty small amount of them, normally around 8-10 rockets compared to hundreds of cannon round. Of course there are and will always be an exception to that, such as the SNEBs which are pretty good and accurate.
I can say on a good day I can get 3 kills with traditional CAS planes. As for cannon CAS, due yo how brain dead easy it is, I can easily get away with 5 or even 8 kills with enough ammo conservation and the team guaranteeing air superiority and taking out enemy/terrain neutralizing enemy SPAAG.

The only change I don't really have a problem with for Germany is the sturer emil, because nothing will really change, it'll still have a massive fuckoff gun that can kill almost anything it fights and still have poor armor with an open top and poor mobility. I don't think people will suddenly start playing it again because the cause of death is more often than not getting strafed by a plane before you can get to a position

@@humzaakhtar9208 both are survivable by nature because of their huge breach and layout but the armor isn't thick enough to bounce any half decent cannon. What most likely is the case is that the driver hub on the sturer eats shells but since it reloads for 3 decades your second hit can easily take out the breach/crew

God when you play a king Tiger right you can legitimately just walk the enemy back to their spawn with no effort. I’ve gotten multiple 10+ kill games in them with the enemy not being able to do anything to me.
This is exactly why I'm losing interest in this game.

Yeah the Teams are the main issue. I am currently grinding the French Tanks and everytime im on Germanys side we loose. But if you have a good German Team you just destroy the other Team. By the way im currently at 4.7-5.3

I just spaded the T-80B. Why is it getting downtiered. While the M48 is ridiculous it has enough attention. The T-80B is going to shred at 9.7 with its mobility, 3BM42 and armor will actually work at 9.7

Germany has the best 6.7 line up in the game. Maybe if it only fought other 6.7 tanks. I stopped playing the TIGER 2 because it routinely gets wrecked in up tiers, and it always seemed to be in uptier battles, couple this with the manlet being so easy to pen, which I abuse when fighting against 6.7 Germans. I do agree the M48 shouldnt be down tiered. Instead we need to stop having cold war era vehicles fighting WW2 era vehicles.
Why do people pretend like the Tiger 2 is the only tank at it's BR with a turret weakspot, nearly all 6.7 heavies have that, and it's not even much of an issue if you play correctly and don't completely rely on armor. Also I think that early cold war tanks (M46, Centurion Mk.3, T-54 etc.) should fight late WW2 tanks because things like the King tiger would be broken OP if they didn't.

You get Tiger 2 vs cold war tanks because it was an overly complex (by the time) and expensive. Ww2 Germany was not sporting tigers as their standard
@@soloaceyt3483 Look at it this way, Centurions are also very slow and can't even rely on their armor at their own BR. The only thing centurions have going for them is their APDS. You don't see centurion players complaining despite this. Another example is the tortoise, which is arguably worse than the Tiger 2 but I still do fine in it most of the time.

Tiger is excellent tho, it has the same playstyle as a Panzer IV except it’s more bouncy and has trollish armor. Much better than the Panther D with it’s nonexistent turret

I primarily play US 5.7 just because thats where my historical interest is at, and panther turrets may be the bane of my existence. they are very trolly and the machine gun hit box seems to be the the size of a boulder. I know the leo 2a6 is very good but it is just a leo 2a5 with more pen ... it has the same weakspots as every other top tier mbt... its always the same... you shoot first and place your shot good = you win
@@Lxcx333 I mean yeah, but the Ariete has way less armor than the Leo series. The composite screens and composite blocks are really OP, for the reason it has a 90% win rate. And even with the PSO Tipo 2 armor package the Ariete still suffers against a standard ol Soviet cannon. So overall the 2A6 is a combo of both great armor and great firepower making it a little too op if played correctly.

@@lance_the_avocado9492 the armor is great yes but the abrams has literally the same impenetrable areas and the leos can be easily penetrated st the hull (even higher plate not like russians and abrams) and the breech is bigger than on the russians and the leclercs.
So overall it has the same weakspots as all the other top tier MBTs but you have to know where to shoot and i personally experience that more than every second enemy shoots at the impenetrable turret areas ... i mean jsut shoot the gun or the breech ?

Just as bad to me is that about 50 to 75% of the time I have noticed that EBRs tend to be only one life spawners as well. Not as fun for either team IMO.

The true genius in historical matchmaking is their captured/share tanks aren't same br or lower than the original. Share tanks would rarely be same br. Historical MM comes with historical performance. So ridiculously bad KV/T-34 handling with a side of shit materials and cat issues. The Puma/LeKpz/Ru251/RadKancer whine when they get stuck in battles with things that can fuck them back would be beautiful.
The T-64 never left Russia. T-64A upgrades weren't until years later into the MBT-70 era. You would have some dumb ass costs to go with unexpected things holding you back, especially with the original version. Your competition in the M60A1 had best in era fire control, a better stabilizer, better turret rotation rate, certain thickness at angles that can shatter your composite rod unfavorably, gun depression, a viable reverse gear, a fire rate twice that of yours, plus the ammo stowage isn't death. But your armor package was near witchcraft [discounting American silicate armor] for the time, as long as no one knew how to exploit it.
The premise of Leopard 2A6 Against M1A2 SEP or Pwnther getting Penned by T33 shot is just too much balans to be legal.
I love playing my German tanks and usually do pretty good and end up on top of our team but lately I find my whole team dies a minute or so in and I get flanked by several tanks and we get spawned killed the rest of the match. This is also at only 5.7br so that may not help any.
I've been taking a break from my German tanks to level some others up and it's been much better lol

It's the easiest way to implement garbage like this. In WoT as an example, Wargaming implemented multiple broken vehicles at the same time (268 v4, 430U, etc.) and the 430U wasn't changed for a long while because the focus was mainly on the disgusting 268 v4. View range does depend on equipment and skills, yes, but those numbers don't change so you have a base value to work with secondly it's not rng to spot someone don't know where you got that, thirdly aiming in wot like I said should be changed but where to hit is less bull(only really the tracks and the same can be said for wt, infact volumetric broke a lot more than just tracks) getting one tapped by aphe in the cupola or a shot going to gulag after hitting a viewport, fourthly spawning in multiple times gives a variable in favor of snowballing like the autoloader and reloader mechanics in wot, and my final point having values that are adjustable should help with balance(if they did more their best with it that is) and again gives values that don't change that you can work with.
Even if a game is bad or just not fit your style doesn't mean you can't understand the pros that it has.

Gaijin needs to take the route like Siege and have an “Operation Health” where they give the devs TIME AND MONEY “ik Gaijin it’s gonna hurt the wallet” to address the multitude of game breaking issues, have the dev server be up continuously so people can actually verify if they’ve fixed things then continue, and also make sure that fixing something doesn’t break something else again as they’ve done in the past. I’ve been playing wt for 5 years now and the game has come a long way but the issues have only been piling up since then and the problem is that they never get addressed. Thoughts community?
I agree, I don't even think fixing all their shit would take very long. I mean, the community is constantly telling them what should be fixed.
In one quick patch they could fix the basic br problems, then get to work on deeper problems.
You're missing the entire point here.
They don't want to make the game better, their aim is to purposefully make it as frustrating to play as possible while retaining some players.
Their people aren't intelligent enough to make WT good and still bring money. It's a risk and you'd have to be clever about it to pull such a thing off. So they play it safe and go with the classic formula described above.
Seems awfully conterintuitive but it is a very and i mean VERY well studied matter.
Frustration is one hell of an adversary of the human mind. Our minds will go to any lengths to get rid of frustration.
Bugs, horrible server performance costing you kills and making you die, bullshit shots, retarded events, horrible grind, high repaircosts, unbelivably cretin maps and insane 2000's sprites kind of hitboxes and more. All of these are frustrating to us and they go hand in hand. Bug gets you killed, you get few rewards so your grind is longer for instance.
The frustration builds up and quickly reaches anger.
Then the players think: What is the fastest and best way to rid the frustration?
And the answer is: Premium time and vehicles greatly offset the losses incurred by the bugs and other crap form the above written list. Not perfect, but it's by far the best option.
The only pronblem with this is that you don't realize you've been purposefully misled (slowly and slowly pushed) into arriving at the previous conclusion. To us, it's like we arrived at the decision ourselves free of influence.
Suddenly 150Eur starts to seem like a good deal because our minds know the frustration will go away.
I'm on a bit pf a personal crusade against such deceptive tactics. Very similar concepts are used in everything around you for marketing purposes. Sure you may think i'm a conspiracy theorist and you're entitled to your personal opinion, but there is quite a bit of literature on the matter with examples of how simply arranging produce on shelves in a different manner can greatly boost sales.
My opinion is that these tactics are applied by weak minded cretins that are undeserving of their place. There is always an alternative that doesn't involve deception, they're just vastly inferior excuses for people and they fail to see it so they deceive people.
It being the "make a product so good that people will actually and truly want to buy it, word of it will spread like wildfire and don't dive into post purchase monetization schemes...just offer the world a good thing" Then comes the hard part. If you make an unbelievably good phone for instance (never breaks, insane performance, etc), people won't buy two and won't buy more because it doesn't break. It's up to you to figure out other things to invest in to keep you up and running...perhaps the next generation of phones that offers so much more people would go out of their way to get it. But it takes brains and a whole lot of them at that.
Pathetic weaklings like the scammers described above are far too unintelligent to see a proper solution, so they stick with the tried and tested, only interested in making money, not leaving something useful behind.
Operation Health in R6S was notorious for making the game even worse...
