I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but the "redirecting link" to your Swecraftcorner site is broken (due to a missing "w" in the beginning)... Edit: To get to the correct page containing her written instructions, I had to click on the "All Patterns" option at the top-left, and selected "Wearables"... From there, on the second page (pg. 2) it was the 4th option that's found on the left of the page. Hope all that helps until it's fixed 🙂
Why don't you do like i do? I write the pattern{yes, it's a ton of stopping & starting & rewinding} out. I then get my yarn, hook, stitch markers, & scissors. I watch a bit, pause, write what i need. ALWAYS REMEMBER: RIGHT THE MULTIPLES OF, PLUS WHATEVER, because tons of these patterns in magazines & books, don't have the multiples. I've never understood how people who send in their patterns, they seem to think, everybody in the world wants to make their bedspreads twin size, when their bed is a king.

Are you sure that using a light weight (3) yarn and 4.0mm hook will work for this project? I followed the directions needed to make a larger size, but it was still way too small so I had to add numerous rows (way more than recommended) before even thinking of moving on to the heel. I don't crochet with much tension, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong especially because my project didn't just start off too short for my foot, it's also very tight AROUND my foot. Do you think starting over with a bigger hook would work?

I get confused so easily and it takes forever to make something an find missing stitches or wrong stitches.end up ripping out the work. Not finished any projects cause I get lost trying to make something and give up.
Couldn't figure out row 3 so I skipped the last st to have 30. Now on row 6 says to repeat 9 times but I have 10 not including the initial 2 dc in same stitch. And it doesn't say how many im supposed to end up with. I don't understand your pattern and how you are getting these numbers. I've never had this much issue with a pattern.
Please help. I am halfway up the shaft of the sock, I have 36 stitches going round. However, for this next round of 3 sc skip two etc I am ending up with 13 sets of 3 and not 12 sets of 3 as previous. Please advise where I am going wrong.
For a beginner like me, your hands are too fast and your thumb is blocking the stitch to begin row 2. I can't see it. Also sorry but I can't understand your instructions. It is confusing for me. I don't understand how to do that "repeat total 9 times (30 stitches) without showing if you did slip stitch at the end before repeating it 9 times, or you just continue without slip stitching.
Honestly I don't think this is a beginner friendly pattern, obviously it's not made for that sake, the rows are always closed with the slp stitch if you saw the first ones are closed then the rest it is the same. I recommend you to read the written pattern and slow down the reproduction speed also watch how to crochet in round first so you know what's she's doing at the beginning and feel more confident with these. I’m not a beginner and I am absolutely confused about those instructions as well. It would have been nice to see her do one of those rows before skipping. I’ve been trying my best to interpret those instructions doing them over and over again, with little luck.
Idk.about the first question but I'm sure you can. To make it smaller you would probably have to take a row off the first four rows. I honestly don't know though
Hi. Can I ask you a question? I bought your written pattern on etsy, but it does not match your video. In the writte instructions your last row before heel is round 14 ( which is repeated round 6) and that is 3dc in one stitch, skip one.... in your video your last row before heel is 1dc in every stitch. Which one is the correct one?
Late reply, either repeat of round 4 or round 6 works. Some people end on round 6 repeat (3 grouping of double crochet) because of sizing, some people end up ending on repeat of round 4 (1 DC in each)
She doesn't in this video, but if you don't have tiny legs, then you'll need to increase the amount of stitches for each row. I'd suggest trying on the sock (after you've started on the shaft) every two rows. That way you can gauge how much you need to increase by. Keep in mind that you NEED to keep two blank stitches in between your 3 Double Stiches.
I love this lol i have to watch this video again after i get some sleep, theres no way i can focus now 😂😂😂😂😂😂
