I grew in Greendale:-) My Dad was the DA there for over 40 years! When I was growing up through the 70's and 80's all I wanted to do was get out of WI. I left the day after I graduated in 1982. And then suddenly I realized how much I loved my little village. Last year I moved home for 3 months to hang with my mom and honestly just to wander through the Village. My Dad had passed and every week I would go and have coffee near the library, I also felt his presence. Ill be eternally grateful that I was raised in such an awesome place.

That sounds wonderful. I'm very grateful I was raised there. I'll be coming back soon for the first time in years, will also stroll through the village. Looking forward to it.

If Greendale considered moving to Southern California i'd be all about that Suburban Life; laying bricks, chilling in Gazebos, grabbing beers at the Panther pub. It's all there...now bring it here!
