Why wouldnt you just tape the fabric at the top to hold it in place and then roll the starch directly on the wall..lay the fabric and then do another coat over it and smooth it out then trim with a razor. Seems easier than dunking fabric in glue and attempting to get it on the wall with no wrinkles

What surface need to apply the canvas with liquid starch? Regular egg shell finish or flat finish paint on the wall is fine or need special primer? Thanks!
I did my walls in a rental home over 17 years ago. I just picked a corner off and pulled it off. It was very easy to remove. It stayed on my bathroom wall over 3 years . By the way, I used twin sized sheets.
+Happy Slant I don't think rolling starch of the wall would be enough. The fabric needs to be pretty wet with starch in order for it to stick to the wall. I often roll the wall with starch AND roll (or soak) the fabric with starch. Hope this helps!
