- Up until now, we’ve looked at technical indicators that mainly focus on catching the beginning of new trends.
Although it is important to be able to identify new trends, it is equally important to be able to identify where a trend ends.
For buy:
1. 20 ema crossover 50 ema
2. price must be above 20, 50, 200 ema
3. pSAR must be below the price
4. Initial stop loss would be first dot of pSAR
and trail stop loss according to it
5. Exit would be last dot of pSAR
For sell:
1. 20 ema crossunder 50 ema
2. price must be below 20, 50, 200 ema
3. pSAR must be above the price
4. Initial stop loss would be first dot of pSAR
and trail stop loss according to it
5. Exit would be last dot of pSAR

I have developed my own cycle decoder which in combination Linear Regression Channels shows me some nice cycles, and I have been getting in at the bottom of the cycle and out at the top,
However these cycles go for a couple of weeks to a couple of months and I have been looking for a method where by I could jump in and out of them on a Daily basis so as to compound my profit.
I have looked at PSAR many times and it definite appeals to me, I had just not worked out how to use it.
Now thanks to your video it is soooo obvious. I just use my current cycle decoder and Linear regression Channels to tell me when a trend is happening and then use PSAR to jump in out in the direction of the trend.

Generally the same strategy I've seen elsewhere, though with a 9 and 50 EMA, plus the addition of the RSI set to a common crossover point of 50 as a 3rd confirmation of direction. EMA's above each other, PSAR in correct direction, RSI crossing above 50, go long. Reverse all for a sell.

@@Andredias164 you can use this strategy to scalp a sideways market, but first, go on a smaller timeframe and target little pips.
In a smaller timeframe, sideways market may appear to be trending.

15m TF (intraday) trading.
15m for entry, 1h and 4h for trend.
5m TF (scalping) trading.
5m for entry, 30m for trend.

Good points made, but looking at it from a certain perspective when it comes to the mother of all coins , nobody knows where it will go, surely I wouldn't invest in it as a retirement assets, I don't think it will ever replace Fiat (Both because of its limited availability also because it would take generations to do that) and most of all because now at (almost)all-time highs, is my opinion not the best moment to enter

Don't trade when market is consolidating... You need patience.,enter only on the first pull back of a trend.. And the entry candle should break the previous swing high/low

I think the bar has to close with the dot indicating a trade. Some platforms show a dot on the bar in progress, but the dot usually flickers between the ends of the bar until the bar closes.
