Pretty cool way to do 0 level characters. I run 5e and am pretty generous w character starter attributes compared to this lol but I also run 1/2 levels for classes to make a less jarring transition from lvl 0 to 1 in terms of skills and abilities

9:46 where did you got those numbers? the melee attack, melee damage, missile attack and missile damage.

DCC core rule book's first chapter is all about ability scores. In that chapter there is chart 1-1 that gives ability score modifiers per ability score. Hope this helps... Dave

I rolled up 12 level 0 characters for my solo run (going to run 8 of them with 4 as a back up for when others die off) Need to do a couple more things like extra equipment and put in hit dice for the weapons they have but lunch break ended ha

@@davesmaginations5222 Aw nice I will check it out. I have a couple different funnels and some level 1 and two adventures as well :-) I also am going to be using the solo mork borg rules Solitary Defilement and Depths. Simple rules works really well for pretty much any game system has good was to make random events, dungeons city stuff as well. I also like to do up large charts of cities, towns, npcs, so if I come across something I just roll it off and using the solo rules and some mork bork stuff I can have them already assigned how they are in terms of if they helpful, creepy, odd, looking for help etc.. makes solo stuff a bit easier. But I will check out your idea adventure. I think I am going to run Portal first though.

So it wasn’t DCC, but in a 2.5e campaign I was a part of all the players took npc classes at the beginning and played almost half the total sessions with no real combat capabilities or magic outside of racial abilities. Eventually we multiclassed and nothing’s ever made me feel as powerful as that first level in cleric.
