List of materials
Heavy body Acrylic by Mont Mart (set 24 colors)
Pre-Primed cotton canvas
Canvas size: 12 x 16 inch
A basic palette knife, a line brush for detail, a no.4 filbert brush,Charcoal Sketch
List of colours:
Create Charcoal Sketch
0:09 Phthalo, cerulean blue, ultramarine, white for underpaint sky /
2:48 Use Paynes Grey to underpaint distant Pine trees.
3:40 Using a no.4 small filbert brush or flat brush block in the windows with lemon yello and deep yellow
4:03 Underpaint the side of the cabin with red
5:33 Using small brush block in the roof of the cabin whith White and a little cerulean blue
7:01 Using white color for the snow highlight on the roof
7:39 Detail the cabin
9:02 Block in the front door with sap green
9:36 Using white color for white border
10:56 Using a mix of white + ultramarine (or blue) + a bit of black to highlight (phase1) Pine trees and use white color
dab a highlight (phase2) on the right side of the tree whith white
12:08 Underpaint foreground snow, This is a fairly simple step, first mix white with Paynes grey
and a bit of cerulean blue. Now take a palette knife or brush and completely block in all
of the foreground
13:19 Highlight the snow with white
15:11 Mix white a very tiny touch of pink and lemon yellow to create the Warm light spills out of the window
15:48 Splatter Paint Using a Toothbrush with white color
16:05 Paint a winter tree on the right side of painting using black for tree trunk and wthie for snow covered tree branches
17:53 Using deep green + yellow ochre to block in the Christmas Tree and decorate with colored lights
20:19 Paint a red mail box in front of cabin

My son (10 yrs) and I watched this last week when you posted it. He really loved it. Tonight he comes to me after school and says they are decorating their desks at school and it’s a competition to see who can decorate the best. He wanted to create your painting on a card with textas to display. I said “you do realise this painting would have taken hours and Mummy isn’t that good?!” He replied he had faith in me and while he did a shooting star across the sky on his card, I re-created your wonderful painting. Not nearly as good, but the best “textas” I had were Tombows and they got the job done. I have one VERY impressed 10 year old, regardless if they win - and it’s now 1am and I’m off to bed! Oh...and you have inspired him to continue with his drawing. He asked me if he promises to keep drawing and not get cranky but take his time and focus, will I buy him his own set of Tombows? 😂🥰🤪🎁

It will be easy. If u work with trees and color combination on rough paper or sheets first. Then put your hands on complete painting :p

So sorry for ur loss...i remember when I was 18 I had a hampster...his name was Chico...he got out of his cage some how and was lost for ever...i was devastated...i still think of him til this day and I'm 36 now...so I feel ur pain😢

I loved painting and drawing. Still do. But have been so severely depressed, feeling so low since so long now, that don't find the energy to seek joy doing things that I once loved. Neither do I get the time, and nobody would care to understand. This is so bittersweet. Provides such an odd sense of peace and calm. I know the sadness won't go away so easily, but still even ten minutes to get away from this sadness is enough for someone like me. I wish someday I'll be able to start doing things I once loved, again.

These paintings look as if they are real! The correct use of acrylics is there in the painting + Makes me learn their usage easily and do paintings which are brilliant!
