Hey ivana, it is the rainy season in india. So india looks really beautiful this time of the year. It is the perfect time to visit states like M. P, Maharashtra and Goa. Also, you can try going to kangra valley in the himachal pradesh or kasol even in this season. However, it is not the best time to go to even higher reaches of himalayas rn. Still, this is the best time to visit the places i have mentioned above. These are safer and people normally are good.
hello ivana,you are currently in jammu and kashmir...i am very happy that at present you are in my state.i live in jammu city..let me tell you truth,,travelling in kashmir(or srinagar) is really not very safe especially south kashmir where there is lot of militancy..that is why government has deployed lot of army over there...now, a days lot of military operations against militants are going on...i am very sad to tell you to move out of the kashmir as early as possible.the tourist visit has reduced very much for the last 6 months.however,there r lot of places in kashmir like ganderbal,anantnag, etc etc where you can find the real beauty of nature.that is why , kashmir is also called as "paradise on earth"...but at present,i would not suggest you to visit these areas,,it can be risky..rather,you should go to himachal pradesh which is very idyll place to visit.Apart from himachal,you can visit north-east india like Assam, Meghalya, Arunachal pradesh etc etc...i wish i could meet you as you r in my state now.but you r leaving today...n i am sad that you visited from amsterdam to india and you could not stay even for a week in kashmir... i apologise you for this..thanks...

Ivana travel safe, there are scores of Hill stations in India, if you want peace and tranquility there are so many options, Kashmir right now is unstable, the worst time to visit. Would encourage you to visit wildlife sanctuaries like Corbett, Ranthambore etc, would be an amazing experience

Keep a pepper spray with you all the time. Emergency Number- 112, Police Number-100, Tourist Helpline- 1363, Helpline for Women - 181. Although these numbers might not be helpful all the time, but you should at least have these in your phone. Also buy a powerbank if possible. Enjoy your stay here, and go to Chandigarh, Manali for a couple of days if you have time.

If you got scared or feeling unsafe there and you wanted any help then you should definitely approach men in uniform ( Indian army officers ) there they will rescue you from there and will provide you with positive feedbacks . Don't shy taking help from them.
Carry a pepper spray for safety. Film them on camera and do not panic. Because panicking will make you more vulnerable. It is good to walk down the lane but if possible should have a cab sometimes so that you more safely. Apart from exploring the nature and the cultural diversity being safe has to be first priority. It's really hard to digest when people are stalked by such jerks. Hence as a fan of your vlogs I will always you be safe first because at that instant of time you should not be in a situation where you feel blank. You are doing great and wish you all the success.

I have visited Tamil nadu (Kanyakumari) & I learnt that some people making living there are just cheaters. They even tried to assault us in group when we stood up to them.

Srinagar is safe for travel ,any place in India is safe for travel,just watch out for bad guys ,they are there everywhere in the world.

Keep a pepper spray with you all the time. Emergency Number- 112, Police Number-100, Tourist Helpline- 1363, Helpline for Women - 181. Although these numbers might not be helpful all the time, but you should at least have these in your phone.
Also buy a powerbank if possible. Enjoy your stay here, and go to Chandigarh, Manali for a couple of days if you have time.

Carry a pepper spray for safety. Film them on camera and do not panic. Because panicking will make you more vulnerable. It is good to walk down the lane but if possible should have a cab sometimes so that you more safely. Apart from exploring the nature and the cultural diversity being safe has to be first priority. It's really hard to digest when people are stalked by such jerks. Hence as a fan of your vlogs I will always you be safe first because at that instant of time you should not be in a situation where you feel blank. You are doing great and wish you all the success.

I have visited Tamil nadu (Kanyakumari) & I learnt that some people making living there are just cheaters. They even tried to assault us in group when we stood up to them.

sorry...for this sister i m ashamed ....but all kashmiris are not like that,this is not true face of kashmir,we have maintained a long term bonding with foreigners,i have sweet memories of when Germans used to visit our village and mixing up with people,taking part in our cultural activities,but i think some people in srinagar are not good their is something wrong with there mentality,come to south kashmir we will show the sweet side of it ..kashmiris are known for there hospitality & beautiful heart...hell with them who have ruined it..again very sorry...
Sheikh...In India...Many people just stare & gawk at foreigners...because it's "exotic". Mostly it's harmless. BUT...Ivana KNOWS India & Indians. She ALWAYS travels solo here. So, perhaps there was something more. Although, I have always enjoyed visiting Kashmir myself.
