#suggestion Fontaine - MVL (French Championship 2007) An exchange sacrifice, a queen sacrifice, an under promotion and a king hunt by a 17 year old MVL.
Fantastic game young Magnus I can imagine even at 14 he had vast knowledge about chess I read he started in his first tournament at 8 yrs old and his father taught him when he was 5. He says trying to beat his older sister motivated him to play better. He must’ve had great coaching and support growing up Great game Thanks Agadmator
You do such a great job of explaining! I know people are fussing about giving more details about the openings and I respect and admire your position but what you might consider is once in a while describe how these openings can go deeply wrong. Always the best to you!
That was probably all there was to figure out. If Agad paused the video on every successive move, you would probably figure out those moves, just that it wasnt asked. Thats how most of us function, if we use our head, we figure out things, its just a matter of getting our minds in that mode
I’ve got a good feeling about this kid.
YAYYY'
If he keeps it up he might become a top 20 player at least
Bro gonna get farmed to eternity for content. Slump in chess content, 14, 15, 20, 21 year old Magnus
@@thebirdhasbeencharged WHATS WRONG SO?
There is a danger with young prodigies, that their talent will go to their head and they will become arrogant assholes.

There's a famous documentary released when he was still a kid. You can see the effort and coaching in it. Even at 14, he was quite famous.
This 14 year old will be one of the best in near future
a bold prediction come on, he's only 14. how good could he be? he'll disappear into the chess ether.
Hes not even that good, relax
I also feel that. I hope this 14 year old boy will become a world champion one day.
I could see him be co-champion at best.
@@jannatty583that's not nepo dude. Know your grandmasters
One of the best games I ever saw on this channel
Type "Rubinstein's immortal game"
Should get a Brilliancy award.
MUCH THANKS, AGAD FOR ALL THESE VIDS IN THE PAST!!!
I love this because I often wonder about the rise to fame process
That Tal quote. Damn. 🔥
Simon Agastein the co-winner of the tournament represented Norway in both chess and football (soccer). A rare talent!
What an amazing game. Really explosive gameplay from young Magnus
If Magnus got to play the 17th-ranked player for the title, he would’ve been champion at the age of 14.
No one ever GETS anything, you have to earn it. He didnt, so its just a case of ifs and buts.
This Magnus kid will be a world champ one day
Come on, bro. There are Kramnik, Anand, Leko, Gelfand, Ivanchuk. No way to become a world champion for this kid.
joint world champ*

AND, THE FACT THAT EACH MOVE IS EXPLAINED SO THOROUGHLY MAKES 'A CHERRY ON TOP\
Very good suggestion..
I understand the reference to Tal but this looks more like Andersens Evergreen game with so many sacrifices.
I'm not sure I want to win by ravishing my opponent. Well -- maybe a *few* of them.
Magnus was once 2500? 🤯😳 I thought he came out of the womb rated 2800!!! 😄
Another magnus video
It reminds me at that age, I also had 14 years
Magnus be dripping and looking like justin bieber in that photo the chess pop king
Well he was called as justin beiber of chess in 2013 and even before😂
waiting for my cat to make the move :-:
Agadmator ❤❤
Kid got lucky, I don't think he's a future in chess
Lol I found all the moves (pause video moments, and all the 'sacrifices' Magnus did) that Magnus played!
I always enjoy a middle-of-the-board checkmate! 👍🖖
Are we certain he wasn't high? He was a teenager afterall.
don't know why but today's quote gave me a nostalgic feeling
Where is the guy with the “yapping stops” timestamp in these videos
#suggestion
can you start a video seried based on themes, for ex: attacking games, defending games, endgame conversions etc.
That Carlsen kid is pretty good, I reckon he should take up chess professionally.
I saw Rh4. I also saw the sac and Bc1, but could not figure out the rest.

He’s got no future in the game of chess. Trust me, I’m rated 1000
This boy got some potential
The loser later became a fantastic chess puzzle composer!
I just made a comment as to what or how the other kid did later on in his career.
❤❤❤
Great game!
I wonder what happened with the other kid, does he still play chess, or he decided after this game, i will play something else 🤐
Magnus...
"This kid's got style. Doubt he'll reach the very top, though. " -some GMs back then, probably
Instead of magnus old games let analyse chess champions old games.you can cover some games of euwe-alekhin or magnus-anand games
❤
6th view, late again 😢
