The best way to describe One Piece has always been Dragon Ball meets Looney Tunes. lol Oda was heavily inspired by Toriyama but he also took a lot of inspiration from old school cartoons like looney toons, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, etc. He wanted One Piece to be fun and Gear 5 embodies it perfect to remind fans that no matter how serious the story gets, One Piece is still having fun and laughing.
Luffy shouldn't be puffing his arm.. who made that animation this is nonsense. in gear 5 his arm become giant instantly he doesnt puff it. thats the deal of the gear 5. moreover he made wall from the ground and what is that animation we literally see nothing. I hate exaggerated animations. This episode is literally garbage. next episode is better than this. I think thunderbolt episode is the best g5 episode
