This video makes me miss running nitro cars. I no longer have any. Sold them all years ago. I may have to look into purchasing one. I appreciate the video. The sound of that shifting is nice
Man you got her sounding right! I told you got me inspired to get mine back after not running it for 12 years. Had to clean up the engine but got her started for the first time. I sounded like you, lol. Great video💪💯
My first nitro car was a single speed tc3 ran for about 3yrs then I didn't run it for a few years, then one day I wanted to get it running it litterly started no problem, no issues all those years I never broke a single part on the car... then one day I found out my mom thew it away she didn't even care to tell me she just assumed it was junk still irritates me a bit till this day It was the best car ill even probably own honestly superb quality...
Yeah bruh. Nitro was my first rc back in the days. I love nitro. Took a break when I had kids. Running these car reminds me of all the good times I had with them. The sound of the nitro engine and the 2 speed excites me. 🤣
hey not sure if u still have the tc3 but i have a stock tc3 and i took the engine out to clean it and i’m having trouble putting on the pull starter. thank you
hey i need a battery pack and a good controller because i just got one of these cars and not sure what parts and where to find them i’m a little bit of a electric guy thanks for the answers.
I’ve also had several other onroad cars and the Ntc3 is the best imo. Even with the stock .15 small block it’s still still fast af. Btw there’s a sliver and black screw in the 2 speed tranny. The black screws adjust the shift point.
I just bought a tc3 and I can get it to start but as soon as I give it throttle it stalls. If you could do a video on how to adjust the carb screws and get it running I’d greatly appreciate it!! I know absolutely nothing about nitro cars.
@@UDRC85 I would but I have no idea what screw that is. There is the screw that the fuel line goes into. There is a small black screw near the air filter but when I loosen that screw that part where the throttle is moves in and out and if I tighten it too much it doesn’t allow the throttle to move at all. Then there is the screw where the throttle cable is attached and I have no idea what that screw is for either. I literally just bought it today from a dude on marketplace and then I took it to a hobby shop for help and the guy was not interested in helping me out at all.
@@UDRC85ok cool I know exactly what you are talking about. What does the other black screw do? It’s the long one by the air filter. I’m trying my best to figure this out but the car is old and I’m having a hard time finding any information about it.
@@2008dougefresh it’s the high speed needle. When your at full throttle that needle tune at top rpm. If the car die or sputter at full throttle you need to turn the top needle 1/8 counterclockwise to give it more fuel. If the car bogs(to rich)at full throttle turn the same top needle clockwise to lean the tune out a 1/8 clockwise to give it less fuel. Same for low needle
just restored one. little scared as i found its not shifting. i reset the trans, then did 4 turns out on both screws still nothing. runs great but man i NEED to hear that 1-2 shift
@@nathanheinlein8506 it can be a scary first run to make sure everything works. Try holding the car in reactor and slowly pull the trigger. Sometimes the car shifts so smooth and early you cannot hear it.
You don't have remove the transmission. Just paint mark one of the 2 silver set screws and adjust according to engine specs. It should shift at 60 foot mark.

Thank big bro. Yeah I’m loving this car for sure.

Man it’s such a great feeling. I am getting my mugen ready. I’ll have to run it on a tennis court. It’s super low to the ground.

Yes I totally agree. The nitro tc3 is one of the best nitro cars in my opinion. Hopefully your able to get another tc3. 💪🏾
Nice Job.
Got the Nitro bug ey you have a good collection of them 👍I can’t wait to get my first Nitro this year

Nice tunning bro sound really good I was tunning my mates old firestorm with an OS 18 couple days ago hadn't run in about 5 years still runs well 👍

Good ol Frederick
Yo..are you in South Carolina?
No sir. I’m In Maryland
Getting one of these as a project car any suggestions for upgrades?

Mine comes with a .12 got it as a project build comin in soon looking to upgrade it and throw some parts on any suggestions
@@Portapottypossum for the most part it’s perfect stock. You can easily slip on a Traxxas 3.3 in it. It’s a beast with it.

Turn the low speed needle clockwise 1/8 or a turn and see what happens
