I am following your material with great interest. I have a question, I have the ability to shoot at a range of 8 meters at home and I enjoy practicing a few hours a day. am I doing more harm then good given the fact that I shoot 8 meters at home and 10 meters at the range?
Super question, even if the aiming is automatic, is the trigger automatic? Secondly most shooters in their attempt to get a smooth trigger tend to delay ,which is a sure shot recipe for spinal injury. Sir. Im shooting now for a good year. But i did shoot in the past, being state champion. My mom was 4th at world champioship in Granada. So my question is. Last year i started i shoot 535+ on international competition. This year im having troubles, i shoot 522 in Budapest. I feel like i dont know how to shoot anymore and complicate everything. Why?

In 2012 Oleg Omelchuk and Joao Costa both were finalists in the Olympics at 47. You have to enjoy frustrating yourself. It's very similar to learning an instrument.

The closer the front sight is to the black circle the more distracting it is, resulting in a less than 100 percent focus on the front sight.

It is always better to shoot at 10 m, the difference will be roughly a 10.2 at 8 m will be roughly around 9.9 on the 10 m distance

I have seen Jin Jong-oh going for a long hold almost on every shot. What might be the need for a long hold if aiming is automatic?

Minimum trigger pressure or trigger weight is 500 gms, less than this and you will be disqualified after the match
