Another informative and beautifully arranged video detailing facts about our community. I love and appreciate the time and effort you take to create and share this material. Your enthusiasm for Boca is contagious. As I travel around town, I'm finding a renewed appreciation for what is here.
I'm from the Madonna generation (a little older) and began and am ending my working life here. Back in the 1980's Boca was booming and so much was shiny and new. Here we are 40 years later and it is still much the same, except on a much larger scale. Boca appealed to everyone then and now.

Thank you for the nice words! Video making is something that I have been trying to improve. Filming yourself in public speaking is definitely a skill itself.
I am glad that you are still enjoying the area. My family and I still enjoy it here as well. It may not be for everyone. But for people looking for a lifestyle that boca gives, it is amazing!

Great video we will never leave…we are spoiled by the excellent quality of life, public safety and a growing Hospital tower going up. Every time we drive somewhere else we can’t wait to get back to Boca.

Thank you! When I visit a surrounding area outside of Boca, I feel the exact same way!

I live in boca for several years and for me it is way worse after 2019.
Crime substantially increased, even in wealthy areas.
Even though it got a good infrastructure, it’s a dormitory city, not good for teens and young adults. There’s nothing to do to entertain them. It’s a city made for old wealthy people to retire. Good job opportunities are scarce. The city is flooded with expensive condos with high hoa, not too attractive for young families due to lack of job opportunities in the area
Some parts of your video aren’t boca raton, but delray beach around atlantic ave (the coolest beach in the area )

Thanks for commenting! Unfortunately, crime has been big issue for a lot of cities. A lot of times, I hear about property crime but not so much about violent crime in our area.
I have never been a teen here or have a teenager currently. But, a lot of them appear to have a lot of fun around the Mizner Park area especially with those bicycles lately. Or I see them at the Mall like the 90s or the beach. But, I do see what you are saying about young adults looking for fun. If you are into nightlife activities, Boca is NOT that type of place. I do not know what you consider a young adult but I do feel like this place is amazing for someone like me who is between 30-45 years old with younger kids. I do not drink or have an urge for nightlife. I just want to work, enjoy my hobbies, and feel that my kids are safe with good education opportunities. I do not need a city that provides anymore drama or stress.
I did include a little bit of Delray in the video because we originally visited Delray and not Boca. Also, Delray is only about 15 mins away someone living in Boca can easily have access to Atlantic Ave. We enjoy the restaurants up there as well. Delray Beach is nice as well.
Depending on what someone is looking for in terms of housing, there are single family, townhouses, condos, and apartments.
There are some industries here in healthcare, finance, law, and services. I see a lot of successful remodeling companies being used by the new people coming down here and redoing their 60-80s homes. I did a video a while back about the affordability. For people not making 200k + a year, it will be more difficult to move here unless you have a large downpayment.
Thank you for commenting again! BTW. Let me know if you know of any other issues about living in Boca. I can def turn it into a video.
      Take care!

@@BocaRatonLiving luckily Boca is still way safer than most cities in Florida, violent crime is not common but happens sometimes.

@@BocaRatonLiving Not an issue, but from a historical perspective....IBM (Now know as BRIC) has a fantastic story and its impact on Boca Raton. The Historical Society and BRIC website has lots of interesting information. Especially the Marcel Breuer connection. I'm sure you'll find it of interest. With respect to the Police; visit the station @ 100 Boca Raton Blvd (2nd Ave) and share your concerns and make their acquaintance.

Thanks for commenting! Please let me know what you think is bad about specifically Boca Raton? I would love to use some of the information to make another top 10 negative video to give a balance view of the city. The city offers a lot that suits our family well. So, I might want to learn from someone with different needs from their city.
