The Brightline is a huge plus as well! It really connects all of us in south Florida.

It is changing rapidly and I do not see it getting more affordable in the near future especially south Florida. As someone who works with people relocating here, it seems like the past few years caused people to have a mindset shift in the location that they want to live due to lifestyle, political stance, or tax reasons. South Carolina is getting very popular for people moving out of Florida as well.

I can only image the heat on the gulf coast side! It is the current price to pay for the lifestyle that you want .

If you are speaking about the area near the town center and off of Verde…. It’s a pleasant area in central Boca. You are very walkable to the town center, restaurants, and pharmacies if needed. It’s hard to go wrong in Central Boca but it will depend on your needs. Send me a text if you are looking for more specific info. Would love to help you.

A lot of people missed out on those prices unfortunately. Everything has nearly doubled in the past few years. Lotus Palm was quickly sold out and now Lotus Edge is getting there too. Boca high school is definitely NOT the best, actually very far to be the best and is one of the worst high schools in the city The best public high schools in boca are Spanish River and west boca high. Including are the highest rated high schools in boca raton. Obviously disconsidering FAU High

Most people reaching out to me are from the north east area, west coast, or overseas. But, I love Boca area WAY more than other cities further south. If I lived in downtown Miami with my current family, I would want to move to Boca as well 😂

I am glad that you are still enjoying the area. My family and I still enjoy it here as well. It may not be for everyone. But for people looking for a lifestyle that boca gives, it is amazing!

Thanks for commenting! Unfortunately, crime has been big issue for a lot of cities. A lot of times, I hear about property crime but not so much about violent crime in our area. I have never been a teen here or have a teenager currently. But, a lot of them appear to have a lot of fun around the Mizner Park area especially with those bicycles lately. Or I see them at the Mall like the 90s or the beach. But, I do see what you are saying about young adults looking for fun. If you are into nightlife activities, Boca is NOT that type of place. I do not know what you consider a young adult but I do feel like this place is amazing for someone like me who is between 30-45 years old with younger kids. I do not drink or have an urge for nightlife. I just want to work, enjoy my hobbies, and feel that my kids are safe with good education opportunities. I do not need a city that provides anymore drama or stress. I did include a little bit of Delray in the video because we originally visited Delray and not Boca. Also, Delray is only about 15 mins away someone living in Boca can easily have access to Atlantic Ave. We enjoy the restaurants up there as well. Delray Beach is nice as well. Depending on what someone is looking for in terms of housing, there are single family, townhouses, condos, and apartments. There are some industries here in healthcare, finance, law, and services. I see a lot of successful remodeling companies being used by the new people coming down here and redoing their 60-80s homes. I did a video a while back about the affordability. For people not making 200k + a year, it will be more difficult to move here unless you have a large downpayment. Thank you for commenting again! BTW. @@BocaRatonLiving Not an issue, but from a historical perspective....IBM (Now know as BRIC) has a fantastic story and its impact on Boca Raton. The Historical Society and BRIC website has lots of interesting information. Especially the Marcel Breuer connection. I'm sure you'll find it of interest. With respect to the Police; visit the station @ 100 Boca Raton Blvd (2nd Ave) and share your concerns and make their acquaintance.

A mansion tax like California? Some of these states are literally taxing out their most productive residents. Good luck with the move. Let me know if you need help with moving to Boca.

Yeah! Nuvo is a great housing option for some people who are looking for something like this. The ones that can be seen directly on Military do look almost done. But, I curious what the landscaping will look like for the finish project because as of right now their backyards look directly at Military without any fences or trees.

Thanks for commenting! Yes! The type of behavior that I was speaking about are rare occurrences overall. It's just when it happens, you will remember it. We regularly go to Sugar Sands park and in a time frame of an entire year we only had that one incident. Most other parents are completely fine. I have some friends who work retail and they have some crazy stories though. Boca has been amazing since moving here. It was one of the cleanest and nicest cities that we saw in Florida and knew once that our daughter was getting closer to school age that we wanted to move here. Still enjoying it. I lived in north Florida for a while and never felt stunned by the prices at Publix compared to other stores. I had adapted to shopping at other places down here though. I need to check out Aldi more.

If you like dogs, you would LOVE it here. It is still very common to see pets in everyday places. Boca is very dog friendly compared to other areas in Florida. I was shocked when I first moved here.

Good points! People ask about I-95, Florida Turnpike, and train noises a lot.

Yes! When I first saw what those teens did leaving Boca Bash, I was shocked and didn't think it was in Boca. It was being shared in another Reddit group. Thankfully, I am going to Costco and Trader Joe's a lot more to save on food prices. But, Publix locations are everywhere around me and it's still easy to stop in really quick and get out. However, the enjoyment is going down with the prices going up. Thanks again for sharing!

Climate change believers make decisions in fear and from a position of heroism or pseudo science.... then they impose their way onto others. Parts of Florida are completely concrete while others are untouched around Tallahassee are empty. Central Florida has tons of vacant houses too.

@@BocaRatonLiving I'm moving to South Carolina. I found a place with beautiful blue ridge mountain scenery at a large discount on my cost of living. Florida is over-rated.

Thanks for the feedback! Since I’ve moved here, no one has corrected me in person. It wasn’t until I started making videos months ago that people recently pointed out how to correctly say Boca Raton. Locals and everyone around here just refer to it as “Boca” so I never really noticed the other part of it. Future videos have it corrected tho. I normally film about a month or two ahead of time so a few more videos have it the way it is. Also thanks for the feedback about the Paradise Palms neighborhood and Blue Lake Elementary. I get a lot of questions about Blue Lake from people moving here because the school doesn’t have a score yet on the Great Schools website.

These videos are mainly educational but if someone would like to use me for real estate services, I would love to help. I have other videos talking about the negatives of Florida as well. There are a lot of people in this country who are struggling due to inflation.

What city do you live in Florida? It’s a large state with a variety of cities and areas. There are some great places in Florida to live. Yes. Home insurance prices are increasing. A lot of people are shocked by the increase in prices. But prices for everything else are also increasing. I do not see this being fixed soon and some people may be forced to sell their house due to cost. But they can use that home equity and find a more affordable place somewhere else. Both California and Florida are getting expensive to live. But their vibes and political leaning are very different.
