I am thinking of ordering this online, but I worry that the handle size does not fit my hand. I love the size and shape of stiga offensive classic ST. I am 6'2 and I think my hands are normal for my height. Tabletennis11 has a discount on the mid range handle size (G-size) for another 24 hours. I hope someone will reply to give me some indication of the difference from stiga offensive classic ST.
@@KennyNissel I decided not to buy it and just keep on using my stiga offensive classic. there is no rush to upgrade my gear, and I will likely go from yasaka rigan to yasaka rakza 7 before I switch the blade anyway.
@@KennyNissel Have you met someone using the SG grip? I wonder if its the same as LG grip, only not as long. I wish measurements were easy to compare to the Stiga Offensive Classic ST.
Acoustic plays very well with Rakza 7, it'd be a great choice. I have both 79 g and 90 g, and they play quite differently. The light one is very controllable and comfortable to play with, the 90 g is fast and requires good skills, foot work and perfect positioning. Regular FL handle feels a bit small and LG FL feels too big to me. If in doubt I'd recommend buying regular, it might feel small initially, but in a couple of months you adjust and realise why it's this size and why it makes sense. It's harder to adjust to a handle that's too large. I guess it's for the players with really big hands, albeit there are some players with small hands, even females, who just prefer large handles. I play with my 79 g Acoustic and sometimes use 90 g one just for fan as it's quite a weapon. If I ever upgrade, I'll go for a 83-84 g Acoustic. I have a dozen of other blades, but don't really care about them after I started playing with the Acoustic. The feeling is just special and addictive with this wood. Bear in mind that Rakza 7 is a heavy rubber and with a light blade it will feel head heavy. It's not to everyone's taste and takes time to appreciate, but it's good for the spin and for an attacking blade in general if you develop your wrist. I never tried an Acoustic ST grip, but I have Nittaku Violin ST, and the grip is perfect size to me. Should be the same with the Acoustic. Never played with Stiga ST, as i prefer FL. But my favourite handle is Stiga Carbonado/Fextra 7.
with ventus tsp (spin on 1 side and soft on another) it'd be even lighter than with rosenas... my setup (i've tried rozenas... ventus is better with acoustic)
I used a new razor blade on a utility knife with a cutting pad underneath. I've seen some videos of the dude putting a wood block underneath the pad so. He can spin it around that's a pretty smart idea as well
@@KennyNissel i assumed the large was thicker but it appears to be longer as well. Am i correct? I'm about ready to pull the trigger on an Acoustic Carbon Large. Do you love yours?
173 gr es way too light... maybe good for a begginer but with no power... 184 is better, light too... I use my 200gr Acoustic and I am very happy with it, the blade weights 90gr without rubbers; I use Rakza z for BH and Victas TDE for FH. Your selection is very good: this blade/wood is the best ever! but you should get a heavier one, maybe, or put heavier rubbers on the LG one. Anyway, those rubbers are ok for begginers.
What abt using those rubbers on a Butterfly Viscaria ALC cause am looking foreward to build one for my self. I've been playing for abt 3 years and suddenly stopped because of pandamic and didnt play for a long time abt 1 year. Now am gonna start again and I need to build a new racquet
I have both 79 g (FL) and 90 g (LG) Acoustics ( Rakza 7) and prefer the lighter one. In my view 79 is much better for an intermediate player, yes it's a bit light, but 90 g Acoustic is way too fast and needs perfect foot work and positioning. Ot's just tap difficult tp play with in a real match situation. 90 g Acu is basically a pro level. Ma Long used to play with it in 2005-06. This guy in the video is just a beginner and needs a good couple of years of training and coaching at least to be able to play with it more or less properly. Trying to play at this stage with a 90 g Acoustic is counterproductive, unless he's just hitting the ball with his wife for fun.

I am 6 foot all and the large size fits perfectly for me

What did you use to cut the rubber please ?

How do you feel the Regular and Large Grip compare?
Large grip is hood for my hands (large) and regular is good for wife's grip (small)
