I remember recording this whole episode onto VHS when it first aired on Much Music back in the day when they still played metal vids. It was a really good episode and I still have the tape somewhere. Phil was definitely stoned out of his mind but he wasn't a belligerent asshole like in other televised interviews around this time period. Seemed rather mellow in fact.

All their main bands like Crowbar, their "secondary" bands like Clearlight, and all their band members' other bands, like Soilent Green, and from that it goes to Goatwhore and back to Acid Bath after that... it's really quite amazing how much music one can get to know just from gettin' to know the people in your favorite bands and checkin! out their other projects
In the last few years he hardly seems "burned." He is intelligent, well spoken, and quite humorous at times. Check out his interview with Anvil this summer. Proof he is quite with it.
