My granddaughter is 3yrs old and she's still developing her spee h and when I can't understand what she is saying she sometimes hit herself upside the head so I pretend I understand. We have alot of conversations. I love to talk to her ,she says I'm her best friend.

All children grow and learn at their own pace. My daughter didn’t talk until she was 21/2. Today of course she’s the smartest in the house. Torrey you should move that table away from that porch, she will most definitely flip over that banister and hurt herself. I know you’re watching her but babies are fast and really smart. Children are only little versions of us. Can’t wait to see the new addition!

Preach it Tori my son is a month ahead of Winter and she does stuff he doesn't do and I am sure it's the same for him. People are so quick to judge a child's milestone it stressed me out. I decided to let him be a kid and when he does things it will be on his time

Hi Travis and Torie, Winter is doing well with her speech. Don’t worry about the critics. She was the first child so she didn’t have siblings to interact with. Her sister will have her to interact with so she will most likely develop language skills early. Please continue to engage Winter in dialogue. Also, reading to her is important for her vocabulary. I was laughing so hard watching Winter with the baseball cap behind and out of parents view - she had it over her face with chin and pony tail sticking out and you two were talking while having burgers. Anyone else notice that action?

Winter is doing just fine. You guys are giving her all the tools she needs to succeed. My oldest daughter who is now 22 was placed in speech class in pre-k because she wouldn’t talk at all at school. I told them she talked just fine at home. She didn’t have any delays or disabilities, she was just stubborn. She was removed after the first year because she made A’s on all of her work. My daughter was an honor graduate and received over $100,000 in scholarships.
Winter is the cutest little butterball 🥰 I think she will be just fine, however I think you guys should incorporate educational books for her age and also sit down with her and read to her, also there are great programs she can look at on her tablet that will help her as well.
It always amaze me that people think they have the right to tell parents what's wrong w/ their children or give un-solicited advice on what is or isn't being done correctly. You all are doing a great job with Winter. She is doing great as well. Don't allow your subscribers to tell you what they think is right or wrong.
