- The rental for this week is the 2021 BMW 530i XDrive. I'll go over some of my favorite features and give some of my impressions during my week with this beautiful luxury car.

been seeing lots of white and black 530i's in rental lots in fact we rented one in Florida back in February with the same spec and it was great. We usually get Volvo's, Audi's and mazda's and stuff to rent but this thing was one of the best by far. In fact my Dad thought it had a i6 until I told him it had a i4 in it.

I like that mindset dude! Keep on going! Don’t be afraid to look in the pre-owned market at the time you’re ready to purchase. You could save some big bucks simply by getting a car a couple of years old.
@@TheHungryRoad for sure man. The year models I’m looking at that time are going to be the 2017-2021 models when it’s time.
Remember that used German luxury cars are cheap for a reason. The maintenance and repair costs are absurd. If you can’t afford a new German luxury car, you definitely can’t afford it used.

Awesome video! I've been to three BMW dealerships in the Dallas area to be 100%. I definitely want the 540i. Oh, and for $5,000 extra I can choose ANY color from the other lines... mainly the San Remo green metallic!
Now you’re talkin’! I fully support the 540i. It’s the better package. $5,000.00 sounds like a bit much, but you can’t put a price on happiness!

Enjoyed the video of you covering details of this car that I did not know it had. Now i know what to expect when i go the dealer and test drive. On another note, the audio on your video clip sounded muffled and it was difficult to hear your voice.

If you were given a choice, would you choose this 530i or x5 40i with inline 6 (it's 340 hp)?
I’m not a truck person, at all so I would immediately gravitate toward the 530i.

Would you say a 2020 530i is worth it for $38,000? Or should I just keep it safe and go with a 2018 for about 28k?
That’s TOUGH. I’d have to compare the technology in the 2 different cars. It’s CRAZY how updated cars can be within 3 years. Sheesh. I say... if they look the same, have many of the same features, is still in warranty and you don’t mind having a pre-owned car, do the 2018 for cheaper.
Hey man how much do You pay for the 5 series ?
If I can remember correctly, this car came from the National Car Rental at DTW’s airport. It was around $75.00 a day.
Rental cars are used and abused, so this is a testament to the 530i realiblity.
I can respect that perspective!
I love 5 series maybe some day i can buy it

A Corolla/Elantra and a 5 series are a big jump in budget so I wouldn’t even compare those.
Right. What I’m saying is, for rent. At the airports those are the “typical” rental cars that you’ll see. My point was to highlight the fact that this 5-Series was a car that you could rent for the same price as those I mentioned earlier.

That’s pretty cool. The prices at the hertz near me are practically extortion.
I specially use National because of their Emerald Aisle. Whatever car is in that aisle is what you can take. You just have to get lucky and/or be patient.

That’s a lot of car and responsibility for someone at 18. What year are you thinking for each of these cars? There are pros and cons for both.

I would look into an M3 then. They can be expensive, but they do hold their value and it would be the top trim level with the most power and most available features in the 3-Series lineup.

Lol. I mean... it’s quick. I owned cars that did it in 4.7 seconds so they were a little faster, but the thing gets moving for sure.

different sound levels when you are in the car and when you are standing next to it... very bad for watching
Thanks for that criticism. I usually use an lapel microphone for standing next to the car and when I'm inside I don't use the microphone since it's quiet inside and the camera is closer to me. I'll work on that in the future. Check out some of my later videos because I've made some vast improvements since this one. Thank you for watching!

Too small less powerful engine less safety for example hitting on front on four cylinder engine on 60 mpg you are lucky if you survive that’s way always said stay away from small engines the life it’s only ONE be careful always 🙏🙏🙏
