A perfect merging of audio and video, even though they came from different sources.
Old train fans ought to love this! Well done! I know one that I need to bring here and enjoy this!
Superb song and super-duper transfer too. I love it.
Crazy how well the music syncs to the wheels moving on the locomotive
"Danger Lights," where most of the visuals come from, was an unusual film, a romance set in a rail yard. At about 0:40 you get a quick look at the 2nd lead, Robert Armstrong, at the controls of Milwaukee Road engine 6526. The film follows the engine along the Milwaukee's Rocky Mountain division (apparently the only surviving film taken there), as well as thru the Chicago yards.
This film with Robert Armstrong isn't just Pre-Code, it's Pre Kong.
Fantastic music & video!
Congratulations for turning this fun song into a fun video!
Never knew this version! The tempo is the best, solos and arrangement also. Thank you. I like this theme for it grants hot performances.
My 'go-to' "train" song/video!
Great video. I love all the information you provide. Looks like you have a sweet copy too!
The Jack Payne BBC version is very similar- also on Columbia :-)
Great stuff. What a fabulous journey . Thanks so much .
This was awesome. Keep going!
this is tremendous.
Es immer wieder interessant wie diese Melodie verschieden gespielt wird, das hört man nicht oft,Zuletzt die CAOBA Jazzband, das war ebenfalls wunderbar.
Thlanks.
goodmorning to everyone except the person at Columbia who thought of doing this Label design
Nothing beats the potato head design
@@gunnarthefeisty I've been looking everywhere for this comment. My thoughts on the label have changed to a 180, if not a 200° angle. But I will not edit this comment, as it was the first time I had ever laid eyes upon it. I thought it was cursed.
@@CPorter lmfao. Great song by Whiteman, though.
also isn't it nuts how it's split label?
@@gunnarthefeisty it is
