This is one of the most heartwarming comments I have seen in a while...thanks for the gentle reminder and to add to it, just as a mother forgets the pain she went through in labour as soon as she sees her newborn...such is life, the trials will be difficult, but for the sake of Allah, Jhannah will be worth all of it!
Sometimes these there are people that are trying to become good Muslims yet they have some habits that are very hard to let go. May Allah help these people.
For 24/7 days I am constantly living with these types of people and after I studied Al Quran 's some meanings, I learnt a lot and became patience instead of abnormal. Subahan Allah!!
This is something I want more people to bring up. I don't mean to be disparaging to our parents and family, but a lot of them, especially the much stricter ones, engage in narcissistic or even abusive behaviours in the name of piety and apparent faithfulness to the deen. I've seen parents abuse their children, and aunts and cousins spread horrible rumours about X person doing this or that, like "Oh she doesn't wear hijab, how disgusting" or "He divorced his wife, what a horrible man he must be" and try to justify those words because they themselves are "pious" and so can look down on others. It's a disgusting thing to do, and I'm glad this video exists to raise that issue and shed light on behaviour like this. Jazak Allah khair

I have some friends who do their prayers at time, recite Qur'an daily. But yet gossip about people, say abusive words, misbehave with the teacher. They think it's fun. I was very quiet when I first came to my high school. My new friends made me very talkative. After 2 years I realized what I've turned into. In 2020 Corona pandemic, I was in my house, away from those friends. I felt what I've become & started to change myself into the old, boring Me....which I'm proud to be. It's never late to change ❤

this is my mother in law. on surface she looks so pious. she prays 5 times a day, she recites quran, yet she's so terrible to her son, my husband. she has been emotionally abusive to him since he was a child. she was never understanding. and she even didnt provide the basic needs like food. she was very selfish and only liked her other son who studied medicine. but to my husband, she told him to pay the bills for the house even though my husband only finished studying. i hate people like them. everyone takes their side because these secretly evil people have fooled others that they're nice people.

I'm glad to be on the polar end of this-- Pious, and righteous, and true to my words, even though I may fall short of the perception of perfeftion. Everything I do and say is to bring comfort and compassion and faith and trust in Allah, and would never count myself as holier than another for Allah (SWT) is the only one to decide who is holy and who's heart is pure.

I am in Saudi Arabia and working in a hospital. My fellow Muslimah colleague went behind me to request not to work on the same shifts with me even though I hadn’t done anything to her. Yet she smiles at me and talks to me like she’s a sister subhanallah! May Allah forgive her and all of us. Ameen

There were so many things the co worker could have done but instead she went behind SMZ's back said something to get different times, which is not fair, SMZ maybe could have done something to make sure both can work with one another.

I am in Saudi Arabia and working in a hospital. My fellow Muslimah colleague went behind me to request not to work on the same shifts with me even though I hadn’t done anything to her. Yet she smiles at me and talks to me like she’s a sister subhanallah! May Allah forgive her and all of us. Ameen

It doesn't necessarily make her a bad person, but she could have mentioned to SMZ, or any other person she works with what the issue between them is, or she could have been professional about it and shake off whatever problem she had with any of her co workers. There were so many things the co worker could have done but instead she went behind SMZ's back said something to get different times, which is not fair, SMZ maybe could have done something to make sure both can work with one another.
It's her choice if she doesn't want to work with you
It doesn't make her bad
She smiles and talk to you cause she is being respectful. There's nothing wrong
