I absolutely agree with other commentors who said this is a great story and the main character was likeable - the plot was unusual and still interesting. I usually hate young characters but this one was done well.
It would be hard to name a main character; it seems like Rose, then Briar but finally more Evia to me.
This story reminds me of the cartoon Avatar. Before the movie; there were earth benders, air, fire and water benders also. With the Avatar controlling all four. This cartoon held more true to the defin- ition of an Avatar. Sort of like a Messiah; but with more of a supernatural control of all this world's Natural magics and much more combative. Like the supposed second coming of the Messiah where he will be more than turn the other cheek humble. "More" as in " an addition to" as Jesus was quite powerful in his humility A very plausible fantasy and more in keeping with the true meaning of an Avatar; a deliverer of the people. Not just some animated version of any person on the Internet . More than just an animated representation of someone. More like a superhero manifestation of a Real True Enlightened Super Human with the good of All humanity in mind. I was so excited when Avatar the movie first came out thinking it would be more in keeping with the "bender" characteristics of an Avatar. Thank you so much for this magical story of a very real, true natural human potential champion for truth , beauty , good and hope. Thanks, Mario SirSirReal Villarreal.

The original true 'god" of Ankor Wat before Buddhist incursion and Hindu influence and later Sanskrit inscriptions was a female , snake deity "goddess".
I can't help but be distracted by the Nepalese and Tibetan people with the half cockney half kiwi accents.
This is a land of the world's highest mountains that resemble other places but is a timeless, fantastic place of magical beauty. A part of the Multi-verse of no known location. Mario SirSirReal Villarreal. Thanks for sharing.
