This book reveals the biggest continuity error in the series. If the Tedrel wars were 20-30 (big gap there) years ago, Elspeth should be 18-28 in this book (given the timeline established in Exile’s Honor and Exile’s Valor) and a year older during Arrows of the Queen.
this was such a charming tale, it caused me many a sleepless night as I couldn't put it down!
