      @@angelbluerider9588 It's a 2015 2.0 AWD Select model. And it performs VERY WELL in the snow. Even with all season tires.

    I think Lincoln is headed down the right path with this "quiet luxury" theme.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois 8 лет назад +4

      +1guyin10 hardly "luxury" its still behind opel / buick in the interior department both materiel and fit and finish wise. not to mention ride quality still behind.

    My 2nd Lincoln, after 7 Infinitis and being an import snob. Lincoln makes a true luxury SUV. Quiet, comfortable, tons of creature comfort goodies. Stereo is awesome and cabin has ANC (Active Noise Cancelling like Bose Headphones), such a treat in a big city. Unlike my Nissan Z car, other German rides don't feel the need to race me at every stop light. I kind of like that. My 2011 MKX was bigger for sure, and more 'square' so had a far bigger cargo area, but even the new MKXs are rounded on top and sides so you lose some of that space.
    All is all this is an awesome luxury SUV for a retired but still working guy with two dogs, a Nissan Z and a Harley in his garage.

    Love mine. You didn't mention how "casket quiet" it is.

    • @charlemagen5356

      compared to lexus or cadillac its not actually that quiet. they still have a long way to go before they are considered a real luxury brand step one is to stop making buick / acura level cars (entry level luxury) and start aiming for top tier players like cadillac or Lexus.

      +MotorCity J Indeed, it's quiet! Apologies for missing that. I got some great compliments and lots of interest in the car over the week I drove it. Congrats on picking the MKC. =)

    My biggest gripe about car reviews: the reviewers just read the freaking spec sheet. Would be a lot more helpful if you just drive the car and give us feedback on how it drives. We can find the specs ourselves. That's not why we're here.

    Did you even see the stop signs?

    • @mpgomatic
      @mpgomatic 8 лет назад +2

      Of course I did, +wzup77ify! I'm an extremely cautious driver. There was no one on the roads in the park and visibility was good, despite the snow. It was a very slow roll. I left the footage in to stimulate conversation. =) Thanks for watching!
