After 2 years of extreme fishing I can categorically state this is the best long margin pole available. I have taken Tench to 9lb 4oz and Carp to 19lb from a snag filled peg on the Great Ouse where the ONLY way to catch is to drop a bait into a small gap in the weed beds and heave. Hollow elastics have to much stretch so 2.3mm solid is needed with 8lb 0.23 hooklengths of fluorocarbon to a size 10 super specialist. At the other end of the spectrum white hydro for smaller fish is fun. It's not unbreakable, no pole is but if you can't afford a flagship pole buy one of these and the two extensions, you will not be dissapointed . Just one more point Tricast offer a superb spares back up at reasonable prices and quick service. A newer version is available and offers a slight increase in stiffness.
Landed a24 inthe river murry australia man this is a beast of a pole god save the queen and tri cast
Now that pole was definitely bent double!

in my wants list. looks awesome.
Do the finesse top kits fit this pole?
Need one for the barbels!
top kit,s will not fit tricast pro 2 so i do not no if it fit,s finesse
That's not not nice. Pulling their heads off. Play them properly. Put them back in the net, you risk damaging them by dropping them in
this is rubbish lifting the pole right up just use pulls kits
LOL!
