Play a deep space adventure by Sean Clark in collaboration with the filmmaker Steven Spielberg!
An asteroid the size of a small moon is on a crash course toward Earth, and only NASA veteran Boston Low has the expertise to stop it. Along for the ride are award-winning journalist Maggie Robbins and internationally renowned geologist Ludger Brink. Once the wayward asteroid is nuked into a safe orbit, the trio conducts a routine examination of the rocky surface.
What they uncover is anything but routine.

Lliterally one of the best games ever made. The Dig also has one of the most beautiful soundtracks I've ever heard. I still listen to it quite often!

This brings back so many memories. Not only about my childhood games, but also getting together with my close teenage "Greek friends" and play this game for hours trying to solve the puzzles in it... What a great time we all had!

The first notes of the soundtrack makes me want to launch DosBox and play it again right now. Timeless masterpiece.

this is still one of my all-time favourite games to have played. it was truly an epic adventure game, with some of the best storyline, artwork and puzzles that I have ever come across. It's just a wonderous experience from beginning to end. I always wished they'd make a sequel, but I guess with the games patchy history it was inevitable to never happen.

I would love a DOTT/Full Throttle style remaster of this.

Enough with remasters! They can never beat the retro style charm of the classics

@@zjeraar I beg to differ! Remasters are not remakes - if they remain true to the source material, they can be a total blast, like the Monkey Island games for example! Besides, nobody is forcing you to play remasters, feel free to stick to your nostalgia and pixels! There is nothing wrong with having the choice to experience a timeless classic with contemporary visuals.. The retro style charm of the original would not be threatened in any way, so there is no need to declare your opinion as a fact!
I for one would love a remaster of The Dig and dream hopelessly to someday get a remaster of The Longest Journey..

@@swk0t0rfan Ah yes, but often the remasters aren't as flawless as the classics and in the worst case scenario the original versions get revoked and you'll never be able to play them again, unless you go the illegal route, like with Grim Fandango, Metro 2033, Simon the Sorcerer, Z or Zool

less than $3 on GOG at the moment, and also available on steam (full-screen apparently not so good on steam though)... I can tell you - it's one of the best games I have ever played. and is still my favourite of all-time.

The game penned by Spielberg was the most awful non creative adventure game i have ever played ... that would have worked way better as a scifi movie ,but as a game ... it flopped hard , the main problem was empty maps with zero interactions ... a game hyped so hard its failure hit hard many
