Philch Food | Short Film

I wanted to practice using lighting which was very difficult as I didn't have access to ND Sheets to block off the windows which is why it's so dark. I didn't want to go the route of being a videographer, opting instead to be extremely creative with how I lit and colour graded the scene while maintaining a minimal ISO as to not get too much noise in my image. Special thanks to SOCAPA Vermont, Mark Rosen, and Champlain College for making this possible.
The story came around when I was having some bad writers block and instead of giving up I worked with Mark (from ‪@DinnerHD‬ , best known for Kirby Jenner) and he had me come use the first word that came to mind which for me was "Ice Cream" and on my way up to Vermont I'd wanted to make different types of comedy where the first short film was just me ripping on the sequels this one was a sort of absurd black comedy short film about my favourite flavour or ice cream, Phish Food.
