I just recently bought one of these torches. I am very happy wit it but I have a few issues. It seems to dim a lot after just 2-3 mins of continuous use at 1000lms but if I switch it off for about 5 secs and turn on again it goes back to full power.. also the times stated for battery life are not even close. I have to charge mine every 3rd night after about 25-30 mins of use spread over the 3 nights. It isn't a replica I purchased it from a reputable seller.. did you have any of the same findings
Hi Noel, We have had zero issues with our MT14’s and have used them for multiple trips without a problem. I would assume you have a faulty flashlight. LED Lenser brand has a great warranty program if you are unable to return your flashlight from where you bought it. Hope this helps.
Hi Noel, did they fix your flashlight, I think it's normal 90% of flashlights cuts off the power of the flashlight after a few minutes of work with maximum power, the question is why ledlenser claims that the flashlight shines 1000lm nine hours? Fenix PD40R V2.0 gives max 3000lm for 2h 40min and only in the instruction adds that after 1h the power drops to 1000lm The only company that honestly describes the products is armytek, I write exactly that, for example, wizart pro 4 has a max of 2500lm only for 30s later, the power drops to 605lm and so it shines 2 hours 40 minutes it is due to the fact that the diode warms up or would be damaged, so your After cooling down, the flashlight shines with full power.
@@karolkowskib I've been so busy I didn't get a chance to get it sorted but it is actually getting worse. I'm putting it down to a faulty battery maybe I was going to order a new battery to see if that makes any difference
