- Fears are increasing of growing antagonism and conflict between ethnic Albanians living in Kosovo and Serbs who are the majority in some areas.
International Correspondent Alex Rossi explains how the tensions flared up, and why British troops are now being sent to the area as part of a NATO contingent.

According to the Turkish census from the year 145, there were 1300 Serbian houses and only 46 Siptar houses in Kosovo. After the war, Tito forbade the Serbs to return to their homes and moved Albanians into Serbian homes.
- Tito seized from Serbia and annexed the following municipalities to Kosovo: Vitina, Gnjilane, Gora, Zvečan, Zubin Potok, Kosovska Kamenica, Kosovska Mitrovica, Novo Brdo, Istok, Peć, Prizren, Lešak, Podujevo, Leposavić and Štrpce, which until then were belonged to old Serbia. Thus, half of Kopaonik was practically annexed to Kosovo - Lešak, Vračevo, Jarinje, Belo Brdo and dozens more settlements, villages and hamlets that have always been part of Serbia. 2/3 of the land in Kosovo is STILL the private property of Serbs, on which Serbs are not allowed. to come.

Kosovo is not a part of Serbia. Serbia was part of the former Yugoslavia, and after its dissolution, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosovo became independent states. It's worth noting that Montenegro, too, was part of Serbia and gained independence as a separate state, similar to Kosovo. The region is home to over 1.9 million Kosovo Albanians.

Just like reminder as seen on the video (2:30) when Albanians and UCK were doing the same thing during 1998/99 in Kosovo demanding their independence, not only that US did not condemn those attacks on Serbian police and civilians but US, UK and other NATO members were directly involved in arming and organizing different criminal terrorist gangs who on a daily bases provoked conflict. When Serbs on the North do the same today then they are complaining. US, EU and NATO are for years observing how Albanian majority abusing local Serbian communities especially in the enclaves on the South and they had done little to nothing to stop that violence while criminal activities are expanded. During March 2004 they were standing on the side and watched Albanian gangs burning Serbian churches and Monasteries some of them under UNESCO protection and were even supporting expelling of the local Serbs.
