That looks so fun to open I'm starting nail school in November the age of 51.. have the same book ahead of time but we are only learning natural nails.. how was it...
It was mid Covid so there was a lot of missing out on things but overall I chose the right school! They had amazing resources and got me RIGHT for state board. I wish my instructor had more experience but overall I was satisfied. I will be going back to get my instructors license
@@Becab_ Thank you for the honesty.. the school that I'm going to also comes with instructors license option. I am going to take them up on that as well.. this course is only 300 hours for 6 months. But I will be paying other techs along the way to learn acrylics but I know how to lay acrylic I just need the shaping and all of that
Wow that is awesome! My course was 600 hrs over 6months. I would say just keep practicing, investing in courses aren’t really necessary especially if they don’t come with loggable hours.
Not to sound like a creeper, i only noticed because im a makeup artist and i pay attention to people's skin all day, but girl you have the most gorgeous skin. I know you are wearing makeup but makeup doesn't look that flawless on skin that isn't also flawless.
I'm on my 2 month mark of graduating from Clary sage in Tulsa and so far its so difficult to find people to come into the salon but I'm excited to see myself in a year. And yasss congrats on starting .
I’m so glad I found you when I did! I’m going through the same right now, just working locally but ready to get my hands dirty- pun intended! I may have to relocate for classes- I’ve got a lot of ironing out to do. Sending you love sis!
Hey Becca, congratulations on the next step in your journey. I kinda wish I was in your shoes (my class doesn’t begin until March). I’m excited and ready to begin. We’re using the Milady books. It was cheaper for me to get them on my own because that saved me about $200. You’re quite fortunate that you didn’t have to buy the workbook or license test book. I wish you all the best.
I was curious as to what my nail school kit will come with, and seeing your kit I realize I probably have 99% of the items since I've been doing my own nails for a while 😂 but thank you for sharing!!
How much was the nail kit???? That’s what I’m curious to know sis!! because.. I’m the type of person who has so much nail stuff but I would want the kit just like you lol 😂 😂
Going into week three and I have no complaints! Easy book work, we get all the practice time we want! I’ll be posting about it soon. Congrats on starting school. & thank you 😊
If you ever want to try/use an odorless system, there's NSI Adhesion and Nailite. They both got decent reviews. You have to remember to work dry w/ those two. Good luck!
Actually these products were not cheap. I looked them up after filiming, just didn’t have time to edit the prices into the video. I think it’s an ideal kit & I’m really happy about the bag because it’s big enough and has tons of storage for me to be going to and from school everyday. It’s not cute at all but we can change that
@@Becab_ lol I said similar u have a few things in your kit that was not included in mine your bag is better u have a uv light your droppers are glass u have metal nail forms girl u have huge containers of acrylic acrylic brushes etc I paid 700$ for mine and I could have built my own kit for about 250$, you have way more in your kit.
I’m from okc too & been trying to get into Francis Tuttle, Reno campus. They’re waiting list takes months. How fast was the process at the Rockwell campus?
