I’m a very very proud 3rd generation Navy veteran; only female out of my whole family that served; and every soldier will come home to stay, God will make sure of that. When that day comes, I’ll get to meet and see my grandfather that was MIA and his status was later changed to KIA when his ship; the USS INDIANAPOLIS CA-35 was torpedoed and my Papaw was never found so he’s Still At Sea, but I’ll see him in Heaven someday. I wasn’t born when he gave his all for our country but I felt his presence with me every single day while I was serving. To this day and forever more, I have and will always be very very respectful of our military, our country and especially our flag! God watched over us all and He still does, so please show God, our military and veterans how much you appreciate them and don’t blame the military for how our country is because they have to follow orders handed down to them. Be a respectful and bigger person and shake the hand of a veteran and thank them for their service regardless of how you feel about how our country is operating, may be headed, etc! In closing, I want to say to all my military brothers and sisters; past and present; thank you for your service.
