- Welcome to the new car flip series! This series features the silver K24 swapped Honda Civic that I picked up over 6 months ago. The goal for this series is to flip this $5,000 K Swapped Honda Civic and see how much profit I can make. In today's video, I purchase the car, introduce you guys to it, and get started on the drivetrain and exhaust.

Got a 96 midori green hatch with a K20A2 swap for 4500 last year 🤑 drove it for 2 months and sold it for 7400 lol
Yonaka does the same hubs with arp for $265 for future refrence. Should have converted to an EX knuckle so I had 43mm bearing and could run 262mm rotors.

Did you say $5000 for a non properly running k24 in ek coupe?? $500 for no motor non EX shell, $950 motor, $1500 for rsx type s 6 speed trans (which that isn't) , $2000 in misc. Not even on kpro or hondata.......The math ain't mathing at least for a flip. And we have some of the most expensive asking prices for honda's here in the Seattle area. Must be a location thing. Shells like are all over here for less than $1000 with the blown motor still in it.

Hey John if you can’t find a decent hood I can take a drilled, dented, cracked up one and make it look brand new again! I just got done doing a bunch of body and paint work on a buddies turbo d16 ek that is the same color as your k swapped one and it turned out amazing. Only thing that sucks is I’m like 3-4 hours north of you

i have a 2000 civic coupe with a k24a2/z3 trans, rbc manifold, dtr header, and 3" catback. it absolutely rips and is the most fun ive had in a car.
This is epic feedback. Your setup is definitely more optimized than mine, but hoping to make like 215-220whp.
@@boosted_john i ended up making 230/190. i dont see how you wouldnt hit that 215-220 mark. if you dont, look into adding a 50 degree vtc, type s oil pump, and opening up the exhaust a little more. you may end up having a hard time selling it when you're all done because you'll enjoy it so much

I am working on a JDM k24a swap into an ES1 and was hoping for some k series content. Excited to see this.
Well that will be a unique build. I've seen more em2's lately but not a 4 door. Cool!!!
I have a k24a2 paired up to a 05 rsx 5 speed in the same chassis, will i also need the hub adapters to run axles ??
You can get 32mm k series axles from yonoka I think.

Carbon hood ❤
This is most likely what I’m going to do. Just gotta make sure that I can at least trim an OEM hood to clear the intake manifold. If I can, then I’ll get a carbon one and trim it as well.
Also, I have an oem hood for the car now. Just gotta mount it and play with fitment. Almost ready to bite the bullet and get a carbon one.
After this build/ flip I foresee you John swapping the white EG hatch to K series.
